  1. He's a second half QB. A guy who wins it in the 4th. I can't stress enough that this is the meatball angle we have to play up if we ever hope to make the meatballs of Chicago love him like we do.
  2. Yeah, I think I'd rather give Vitters the opportunity Lake is getting. I'm one of the few that doesn't want Vitters tossed in the dumpster, but this is crazypants This. They should both be viewed with skepticism but given a chance. That's no endorsement of Vitters though. I'd give them both some more time in AAA with the hope that Vitters can become a corner IF/LF who gives Rizzo the occasional lefty off and Lake as a 4th OF/possible platoon guy who gets a decent amount of value from D. I'm sure only Vitters will get the AAA time he needs though.
  3. I think my nightmare scenario is Bears finish this one, win next week, Lions lose 1 of the next two, and then Bears lose to Packers at home and Lions win there last game sending the Bears home with tiebreaker with a 9-7 record I already said this Is Rodgers ever going to play at this point? Packers are pretty much dead in the water aren't they? Well the true worst case scenario is all that was said above plus being shredded by a GB team with nothing to play for being led by Matt Flynn.
  4. I think my nightmare scenario is Bears finish this one, win next week, Lions lose 1 of the next two, and then Bears lose to Packers at home and Lions win there last game sending the Bears home with tiebreaker with a 9-7 record I will have nothing to moan about with a 9-7 record, even with a week 17 loss to GB. Gotta win 10.
  5. Nothing more meatbally than 4th Q comebacks so all you guys in Chicago should be okay this week.
  6. Things Jay has done wrong today; 2 INT, a false start, and a hold (I think)
  7. If we lose, we'll just have to support starting Jay because it gives us the best chance to tank. It will take a unified front, but we can confuse the meatballs.
  8. All those PATs come back to bite NCC. Would have been sweet, but NCC has become a pretty dominant D3 team over the past several years so I'm sure we haven't seen the last from them. Great game though, gonna have to re-watch later.
  9. NCC making this a great game!
  10. Damn, went up and just threw a pick 6.
  11. The backup generally has the advantage of not having film or having the defense prepped for him. Cutler wouldn't have that opportunity. The good news is that the Browns are probably too feeble to take advantage of it. In any case, the last time Cutler was sent into start coming back from injury he clearly wasn't healthy and was summarily executed by the Lions. That's worrisome enough. Well, yeah, nobody wants him out there if he's in that condition. Everyone wanting him out there clearly is doing so with the hopes that the Bears have learned their lesson from that debacle. It is funny... when you look at the "Cutler losses" there was one bad offensive showing against the Saints and then his injury debacle against the Lions. Then there was a game where our offense put up 32 but our D gave 40 (Although from memory, to be fair, I think one score was one Cutler) . That wraps up the Cutler losses right? So subtract shitty D and play Cutler when he/s healthy and I think we're good.
  12. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
  13. FTW North for President of NSBB. Kind of implied, isn't it? The [expletive] site is named after him, isn't it? I believes its named after one side of his base ball. ??
  14. FTW North for President of NSBB.
  15. Between Marshall's quote on Monday and this, your inability to understand the English language is startling. Then help me out. Don't bother posting if you aren't going to make a point. I still read Jay as being jealous of all the attention Josh is getting and trying to point out that he is not as good as his stats suggest. ROFL Yea, Jay Cutler, Media Attention Whore
  16. Pitta Bills
  17. Thomas
  18. Garcon and Bowe Chiefs D @ Oakland or Panthers D v New York Jets. I'm thinking the hometeam even though I like the other matchup more.
  19. Rofl, dude earns mad respect for his play.
  20. It's going to be a really big decision next week if Cutler is cleared to play If he's cleared to play I go Cutler without even thinking. Especially against a bad team like the Browns. If he's """Cleared""" to play like he was against the Lions on 3 weeks rest with an injury that needs 4 weeks or more typically, well, thats different. Kyle Orton sighting!! Hooray!! The Cowboys really do want to make us happy :) Yea I think the test is how much of the play book Trestman would hold back with Cutler. If he isn't healthy enough to utilize his legs and you're keeping plays out you probably have to stick with McCown. If Cutler is really 100% or close enough you go with him no doubt.
  21. The OC makes all the difference. Well, that and actual weapons. They have certainly helped, but Caleb Hanie and Jason Campbell don't do this even in the 2013 offense. I'm fairly certain Campbell could be doing this. If Josh mccown can do this tons of guys can but definitely not campbell. Alshon Jeffrey would have 1 or 2 grabs a game fo 11 yards. The 83.0 career rated passer with a 60% completion percentage who's doing pretty good in Cleveland with basically one legit weapon? I think he'd be okay.
  22. Agreed. Nothing to gain, pure stupidity on display. Either that or they'll go for the knees and be like- "well that's what you wanted if I can't launch at his head!"
