  1. Could be a better third back than Carey, if they only keep 3.
  2. Butt fumble is visiting with the Bears.
  3. Wow that sucks, I just heard a great interview with him on a podcast (dammit the name is escaping me) where he went into detail about his Bulls years and set straight some misconceptions. RIP Was it the Woj vertical one? Someone on RealGM posted it http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1541836&p=53689708#p53689708
  4. Damn. RIP Krause. :(
  5. CJ Wilson re-signed. Bears also met with Ricky Jean Francois this weekend. So the DL depth has been adressed a bit.
  6. He seems like a bubble roster player already. But I guess its depth which we need.
  7. The Watson, non-meeting is interesting. On one hand it could be a smokescreen. Is the lack of a meeting a non-story now? I don't think it was ever a story, but yes, definitely a non-story now.
  8. I vote Thomas. Re- unclaimed teams, last year we just set up polls which we can do again.
  9. Well theres like 23M reasons to say this will not be his last game as a Bull, but lets see. Saw someone say on RealGM that his job is now recruiting, whether thats for the Bulls or his new team... and the latter is preferable at this point.
  10. Yea I remember how going into the plays Javy was definitely going to be 3B for certain pitching matchups, like Lester, according to fan consensus.
  11. Today I learned Vince Carter is still playing in the NBA. And hes not just some end of the bench mascot. Putting up 8ppg and 12 PER in 23mpg. He's 40 years old. What in the hell.
  12. Hopefully its not too early. Like maybe he has to trade up from 15 or something.
  13. Pretty fair analysis davell. I'd add TE too, just based on the strength of the draft. Another interesting tidbit. On Walter football's site they have a visit tracker, and I see three meetings (combine/East West/Senior bowl) with day 3 RBs who all have production/potential to be serious pass catch threats, possibly even WR/RB combos; I'Tavius Mathers, RB, Middle Tennessee (EW) Elijah McGuire, RB, La.-Lafayette (COM) Jamaal Williams, RB, Brigham Young (SR) Also, not sure if it was discussed re QB, but the lack of a combine meeting with Watson is noteworthy; not sure how much correlation visits has been for Pace. I remember it was pretty strong for Emery for instance Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami (COM) DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame (COM) Pat Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech (COM) Nathan Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh (COM) Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina (COM)
  14. For total clarity, it looks like it was a 4.55. Truely fast guys are going to run fast on any platform. Maybe it was a fast track, maybe just a good day, I dont know. He's probably athletic enough due to his length covering lost ground, but lets not make him something he isn't.
  15. 37 inch vertical, 4.5 40. Ridiculous length. I think he's tailor made for FS.....Maybe it doesn't translate, but I'm happy to see this getting a shot. Not sure where he ran a 4.5, but his combine time was 4.68. Taken with his length, his athletecism is effective, but hes not quite what I would call super athletic.
  16. Big guy, yes. Super athletic? Not particularly.
  17. This would make S pretty crowded and CB a bit less so.
  18. wait, dropping down 8 spots this year, from 3 to 11, only nets them a 3rd and a likely late 1st next year? That seems soft. Yea, thats probably a little light, though I wouldn't necessarily quite expect "full" vale based on the trade chart (950 point difference). Even on a more conservative/analytic trade board its light. Maybe #43 and #76 and we include #67 (with the 2018 first still). That at least gets you in range of the trade chart, and if you really think the drop from 3 to 11 isnt that large this year, that's fair.
  19. Or, since Cleveland likes the NBA trades lets get some 2018 pick swap option in this deal (no idea if legal)
  20. Hahahahaha We might have the first pick next year as it is Nah, Cleveland is still way worse still. They'll have the number 1 pick already having taken their QB (as presumed by the trade down scenario being discussed) and we'll have to jump someone like Jax at number 2 to get our guy (they will have realized Bortles isn't the future).
  21. If a trade down occurs I almost prefer an option with 2018 draft assets thrown in. Put yourself in a position to trade up for a QB next year.
  22. At this point you have to keep Houston. Even if they still bring back Acho at a small salary, they don't have the depth there. Maybe that changes after the draft. Last year, they left quite a bit unspent going into Training Camp and then were able to sweep in quickly and sign Sitton to a big deal after 53 man cuts. Could see something like that again, or you just roll forward cap. I just keep seeing Hankins and Logan sitting there, thinking we get involved. I think you can get one of them, keep Houston if you don't draft over him, and still have a solid amount of emergency money, for a Sitton type of move. Not only have we heard nothing about the Bears on those guys, but nothing even on those positions. I'm not holding my breath.

  25. You like Davis more than Mike Williams? I was thinking Mike Williams as a possibility at 3, not Davis so much.
