  1. 13 starts isn't a trait. 13 starts means there isn't enough data to draw a confident conclusion about his actual traits. The way people have generally used it, its a trait.
  2. I don't think you understand the point. But anyways was Cutlers career worth the average expected value of a 3rd overall, 2 thirds and a 4th? Probably* *obviously the 3rd overall is a bit of a qualifier because you can tie it to a specifc player more so than the others.
  3. I'll say this. The biggest knock seems to be the 13 starts. At what point are you obsessing over one trait in the face of all others? I'm not thrilled, but I'm more in a shrug my shoulders mode than the "lol dumb Bears" attitude.
  4. A couple trade downs sound nice, but I'm not going to bank on it. For the same reason we want to trade down- depth- other teams may not be motivated to give up picks.
  5. There was some rumor that theyve done a lot of homework on RB and could pick one early. Most confirmed names I saw were day 3 guys though.
  6. Also, how many times will pace say "pumped" or "excited" in his presser?
  7. Last talk I heard, he probably won't drop that far.
  8. I mean, for horsefeathers sake, they have eventually do something other than horde picks. My first thought is they just want to make sure they'll have the ammo to go get Darnold. But, they'll probably be picking 1st anyway......So, I have no clue. Haha! Exactly what my thought process was.
  9. Oh wow, didn't even think that. They've definitely got the ammo to do whatever they want. I mean, for fucks sake, they have eventually do something other than horde picks.
  10. Presumably to end up in the horde if picks going to the Bears for Mitchell Trubisky, per Greg Gabriel. I can't imagine what the package would look like if this actually happens. I dunno, but if Kevin Kostner is in the Bears War Room, we're geting a punt returner back in the deal too. #VontaeMackNoMatterWhat

  12. I mean, this at least takes a lot of grey area out of evaluating Pace right?
  13. Let's be clear, the only thing making up for those picks is Mitchell Trubisky.
  14. Well I dont think the trade was about what SF wanted.
  15. They.... gave up a lot.
  16. It has to be QB right?
  17. So are they gonma trade down now?
  18. Rumor floating around that a team within the Top 5 is real high on Watson... So many damn rumors right now. This has got to start.
  19. I mean, they'll probably lose some regular viewers, which is why they are getting paid. Well, no...I mean. Yeah they may lose some viewers, but that's not why they're getting paid. They're getting paid to allow someone else to air content that they produced. Well yea. It factors into the economics though. If 5% of their Intentional Talk viewers are also regular viewers of ESPN2 programming, theres a pretty good chance theyll lose those viewers to ESPN2. So getting paid should in theory offset some or all of that.
  20. Which means it will be watched more on espn2, because it's in more households, right? That's why I don't understand this. If espn is shedding talent, why is a competing network bailing them out? If I'm a regular viewer of Intentional Talk, I'm going to continue to watch it on MLBN. Little chance of MLBN losing viewers because of this. Instead, they're going to make additional money from ESPN paying them to be able to air that content. I mean, they'll probably lose some regular viewers, which is why they are getting paid.
  21. Lol. I AM THE KEEPER OF THE INFORMATION! #WhiteDraftPicksMatter.
  22. 1 -Cle) Trubisky 2 -Car) Fournette 3 -Chi) Garrett Yes please I dont think that happens. It makes way more sense for Cle to actually use their considerable draft resources to move up than to pass on a prospect like Garrett.
  23. Supposedly Carolina is in talks to move up to 2 (Fournette), but Cleveland is still interested as well (presumably Trubisky) The former can really only be good for the Bears. The latter... depends on how you feel about Trubisky.
  24. It said "a player expected to be taken in the first round" I'm sure some internet sleuth can figure out which prospect(s) might have been in Cleveland the past few days I think the article said April 8/9. Still, kind of a weird article, and yea, I'm sure the internet is gonna sleuth the heck out of it.
  25. Assistant coach Mike Kitchen fired.
