    I guess better late than never, but they just passed up a chance in a strong QB draft and now have a weak one. Obviously Barkley is awesome, but he's also a RB, so...

    Apparently the Blackhawks announcement of this deal says that NBCSN will now be the "exclusive regional home for all regular season games, pre-season/spring training, and the first round of the post-season coverage for the Bulls and Blackhawks." So no more WGN for Hawks and Bulls from the sounds of it. Wonder what the White Sox presence will still be on WGN. Outside of the month of April, how often will they need to share coverage on another network if they arent sharing with the Cubs too?

    I think they used Cooper also (or was he never active?) . And since they didn't use Bray or Coward, is there one other player that had active and later cut ala Cooper?

    Read it wrong. Quinn HC and DC. Wow that's soooooo dumb. Too bad we don't play them next year. Maybe, maybe not. It could just means he's taking over play calling, but will be able to keep the same number of defensive staff for weekly coordinator preparation roles.

    They're probably not the worst team in the WC round, but they're fine to play. It's the NFL and the Bears may find a way to break my heart but I'm not worried.

    Okay I know I'm a year away from seeing this prediction, but feeling pretty good about this now, haha. Self bump. Plus everyone can go mock anyone who doubted the Mack trade (if there were any).

    Gase in Cleveland would be fun. I'm sure he'd do well in Ari or NY with those young QBs though.

    One of the rumblings I heard was that he couldn't grasp enough of the offense to be an effective 4th WR because he couldn't play multiple spots. So he was basically out of a role if he couldn't do that. That's not really on his health, either. I've been moved on from him for a long time. I'm sure hell get decent interest from a WR needy team though just based on his measurables.

    Yup. For instance, only a QB rating of 85.9, but seemingly executed the game plan to a T, just ended up with three close runs to score TDs. And the run game and clock management (37 to 23 Top margin) was the conservative route to success yesterday.

    Seemed pretty obvious to me that the Bears wanted to play Philly in the playoffs. Otherwise......... I don’t think it had to do with Philly per se. More, beat the Vikings now so you don’t have to beat them later. They just wanted more Club Dub to ring in the new year.

    With as many openings as their are, I think Gase has a decent shot of latching on somewhere as HC right away.
