    That's a shame. Would rather beat the Brewers at their best. I have him for fantasy too. That said, it's not like anyone felt sorry for us when we lost our guys.

    I wish we'd see more of the blue jerseys. I was sort of meh on them before, but absence made the heart grow fonder, I guess. I wouldn't mind never seeing the road grey jerseys again. I've hated those since they introduced them in like 97.

    It's ridiculous. It's not like I even dislike Theriot. I actually like him. But I don't like him as a starting SS. He's a nice option as a cheap backup infielder. A refreshing change from the Ramon Martinezes and Neifis of the world. But that's where it should end.

    I mean, I know. He was pimping Ryan Theriot as Cubs MVP last year. Seriously. He wasn't even trying to say most undervalued or most overlooked. MOST VALUABLE. He's an imbecile.

    Pie was kinda owned by Suppan last night. Shudder to think what Yovani would do to him right now. He had good PAs, IMO. He had one walk and should've had another. Suppan got bailed by a bad call on a full count.

    This is insanity! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD WTF!!!! Murphy just mentioned how Lou said he's going to try to get more time for Cedeno. Murph's response? "What does this mean for Mark DeRosa, who was on base 5 times last night?" WHAT IN THE FREAKING HELL? ARE PEOPLE REALLY THIS INSANELY DELUDED? What the Hell has Ryan Theriot done to be so firmly entrenched as the starting SS in people's minds? They don't even consider benching the worst or second worst player in the everyday lineup! How is it possible that DeRosa vs. Theriot is even a question??? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

    probably because he generally has good fundamentals and people aren't going to overreact about a few baserunning mistakes made in one week. Does he, really? Or is that just perception? What does that even mean?

    Levine was just on with Waddle and Silvy and talked about this. He basically said that he thinks that if Cuban is making the high bid, particularly with MLB/Selig's need/desire to get this sale done promptly, he has a very real chance and that there's no reason that Cuban couldn't be considered a legitimate candidate at this point. Silvy asked about the MLB boys club keeping him out, but Bruce seemed to brush that aside saying that Selig wants this done promptly and that Zell intends to get the highest bid both for the Tribune and for his reputation, so there really might not be any choice.

    Levine was just on with Waddle and Silvy and they were talking about Ronny. Levine saying that Cedeno is finally starting to show at the MLB level what he did in the minor leagues. Silvy asked if he expected Ronny to spot start maybe 2-3 times a week, and Bruce responded by mentioning Lou's comments that Cedeno might play CF. When Silvy questioned that, they posed the question, "Well who are you gonna sit down, Theriot or DeRosa? They're both getting the job done," and treated it as though it were actually a difficult question to answer. Yes, Theriot's numbers are pretty decent up till now, but Theriot or DeRosa? Seriously? And it's not like Theriot hasn't made a crapload of idiotic mistakes lately. Why does he get a free pass? If Ronny or Aramis or Fonz did these things, they'd be raked over the coals.

    I gotta admit, I don't follow the draft stuff all that much, nor do I follow college all that much. From what I've read, I'm very happy with the Williams pick. Are there any RB's that we could potentially pick up in the 2nd or 3rd round? Safety? Is it too early to tell what the rest of the draft could look like?
