  1. I think this is like the tenth time you've predicted a rain out.
  2. Sometimes I really hate Jerome Holtzman. Well, not personally. But his legacy.
  3. Opening day was pretty damn heartbreaking.
  4. At least you're finally being optimistic for once. Maybe we should make another bet like last year. Don't want to mess with a good thing. j/p
  5. Shouldn't have thrown beer on him [-X Classy Brewer fans. He's absolutely 100% right about what he said. Of course, coming to say it here as though we have anything to do with that is sort of lame.
  6. Sweeping St. Louis would go an awful long way toward taking away the bad taste from this crap.
  7. Come on, man. What is that his 3rd blown save already this year? Plus the horrible outing in game one. I have had enough of the Wood for closer experiment. I agree, Marmol to closer. Sorry Kerry, but in save situations this year he has been terrible. So you'd rather have Wood/Howry coming in for difficult situations like the one Marmol came in for today? Right.
  8. :?: Supposedly, he played that ball in LF terribly. I didn't see it, so I don't really know.
  9. Am I nuts or does this not seem like one of the situations where all the crazy aggressive baserunning crap might be a good idea? And just as I say that... ugh
  10. Eh, f it. I hate steals, but go ahead and try one here.
  11. Bench, Soto, Pie. If we can get Cedeno on and Soto to homer, that's awesome, but I'm not sold on that due-up. My bad, I had a brain fart. Also forgot about the sub, but I don't mind Ronny up.
  12. Use the better pitcher in the bigger situations, today's results be damned.
  13. Middle of the order coming up against Milwaukee's pen.
  14. And you are still wrong. Check a run expectancy chart. I don't care what a stupid chart tells me. It's a simple fact I would rather have a mistake that doesn't end the inning than one that does. This is why you get more upset when someone strikes out with two outs than with no outs. There is no chance to make up for a two out mistake in a inning. Chart's and statistics aren't the end all be all. Except they're based on, you know, facts, and not gut feelings.
  15. Ok... I'm going to puke if Ryan Braun takes it to us.
  16. At least we have the force at every base.
  17. Theriot did it for the first out in the inning I believe giving us two outs to work with. Fukudome ended the inning. I will take the one that gives us the chance to make up for it. They both count for 1 out. Yep but I would still rather have a mistake with no outs than two outs. You're wrong. Look it up.
  18. LOL ok I almost believe we were better off not having Soriano. (OK, not really, but yea)
