We should've had this. We should've scored more than one with bases loaded and nobody out, and we should've gotten out of the 8th unscathed. Oh freakin well.

What about the game against the Mets, where the Cubs had a 5-1 lead in the 9th and Dempster blew it? I hated life for 2 days after that game. Oh ya, wow. Forgot about that one. I remember turning it off in disgust/disbelief.

Actually no, I've never heard of that. Is that something that's widely acknowledged? Well, I mean, teams don't often win or lose too many more than 102 games... but shouldn't it be 60/60/42? (or something)

I'm so much more mad at this loss than any loss last year. Of course, I was drunk for the playoff losses, so that would partially explain that.
