    Seriously, though, a 4.5 game lead (5 in the loss column) at this point in the season is pretty sizable. I'm thinking it's the biggest lead any team has on first place right now.

    anyone thinking they will just fade away and we win the division by 10 games is [expletive]. At the present pace, we would win the division by about 9 games... maybe 10. Yeah, there is also the fact that we aren't going to win 100 games. But, hey if you wanna think we are as good as we have played go right ahead. The funny thing is how you assume that the Cardinals are, but the Cubs aren't.

    Theriot ran to 2nd when the ball was bunted, there's nothing else he can do. That whole play was just bad luck. It wasn't a good bunt but most of the time that results in a foul ball.

    I still say those OH guys had a clue as to what they were talking about. Unfortunately, they underestimated just how meddlesome Angelos could be.

    He was in like the 4th row for the White Sox series. Could be the future owner of the franchise. really? who the hell is he? and if he's that wealthy, why does he wear such a tacky hat? The story came out last year when he was getting a lot of attention. He wears the hat and gets really animated back there so that people notice him. I don't remember who the hell he is, though. Just a prospective buyer. Actually, don't know if he even is still in the running.

    Is Gallagher going in this series or was he skipped in all this rotation shuffling? If so, we'd be pretty much showcasing all the players we would've traded to them in this series.

    We have seriously had an inordinate amount of hits robbed by sliding catches in RF this year.

    I still say the called 3rd strike on a huge curveball is the prettiest pitch in baseball I prefer swinging K's, but as far as called 3rd strikes, Marmol's slider is sexiest.

Just figured I'd post it since he mentioned Harden.
