  1. Most reasonably intelligent Brewer fans are rooting for the Cubs in this series.
  2. Plus I was completely joking.
  3. That kind of thing still hurts to look at. :( lol i forgot you were on that plane He meant the gas prices.
  4. I'm definitely pulling for the Brewers to win one of two tomorrow. The Phillies scare me only a little less than Arizona does. The Phillies scare me much more than Arizona does right now, considering we won't be seeing Arizona until 2009.
  5. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/1161791,stone091308.article

  7. Just sayin, if those are the prices that are resulting from the shortage, it must be nice. :)
  8. I posted this in the Ike thread but it didn't get much attention... it looks like, if there's a silver lining in all this, we can get better pitching match-ups set up for the Brewers series now, assuming that a game(s) aren't played Monday, either. Plus, a few more days for Z shouldn't hurt, as most of us wanted him to miss more than one start.
  9. It must be amazing to have this be out of the norm and the result of a crisis.
  10. They were busy speaking with Sweet Swinging Billy. awesome
  11. So at this point it looks like we can go Zambrano, Harden, Dempster in this series with Milwaukee if we want, no?
  12. I am absolutely LOVING that they put OPS on that Geo graphic.
  13. Why is it any different if the Cubs put out the B lineup in meaningless (to them) re-scheduled games than in meaningless games as scheduled, which happens all the time? The Cubs are under no responsibility to the Brewers to give the Astros their best effort (in terms of lineup/player use/etc...obviously the players out there need to "try" to win). Even if they were, it wouldn't take precedent over their own responsibility to give themselves their best chance to win a championship. I see resting the regulars for the playoffs in those games as a 100% non-issue.
  14. BUT THIS STUFF DOESNT HAPPEN TO OTHER TEAMS ONLY TEH CUBS CHOKE YOU IDIOTS god it's THE CUBS!!!!111 DONT U KNOW THAT ONLY US WHAT A JOKE
  15. I am really liking Sori's IsoD
  16. Because batting order doesn't matter. Especially when you've got a lineup full of productive hitters.
  17. Is it possible that we'll get the Brewers in Chicago when the Sox game is inevitably delayed/rained out?
  18. lol at prior and wood "regime"
  19. Howry He didn't use it for that word though, he used it for an F-bomb which doesn't really make sense No, he used it for the s word.
  20. Actually, I just noticed that he didn't say anything about a double header. But I just got done reading the thread and apparently he works at MP.
  21. Someone on Brewerfan.net claims the games will be played at MP this weekend. Day/night twinbill on Sunday and a single game Monday. Another poster in the thread claims that the threadstarter is "in the loop," which I'm guessing means he has some sort of inside info. http://brewersfandemonium.yuku.com/topic/15583/t/Cubs-Astros-to-Play-at-Miller-Park.html
  22. Sawx is easier than Red Sox and differentiates them from that other team in Chicago. Sue me for being lazy.
  23. Ping should have a special title of some kind here so that it's not only the long time board regulars who know that he isn't just some random fan pulling these types of opinions out of his misinformed ass.
