  1. Thanks for the heads up Jon! That method just got me a pair in 429 row 4...
  2. Why squeeze two games into one day in an already difficult stretch when the game might not be necessary at all (almost surely won't be for us)...
  3. lol guy on ESPNEWS just said they had breaking news... Said they'd play tomorrow night and Monday afternoon... Graphic said "Cubs-Astros series moved to Milwaukee" while the guy said "both games will be played at Minute Maid Park in Houston." How fitting with the way this has all gone. I have to believe the anchor is wrong, since the other reports are saying Milwaukee too and there's no way in hell they could play in MMP tomorrow night.
  4. Considering we don't even know that there is any game tomorrow, I doubt it. If there is a night game tomorrow (whether it's just a night game or the second part of a day-night DH), I think it might have to be blacked out because of ESPN having exclusive rights to the Sunday night timeslot (hence why there are never any other Sunday night games scheduled). I don't know for sure if that's the case, though, nor do I know if they can/would be willing to make any exceptions.
  5. I'm definitely pulling for the Brewers to win one of two tomorrow. The Phillies scare me only a little less than Arizona does. I would prefer the Brewers just lose every game and we wrap up the division with about 6 games left in the season. We'd wrap it up much sooner than that if they lose every game, especially when you consider that 3 of those games are against the Cubs....
  6. It amazes me that the disposition of the crowd matters that much to players...wtf? They're still getting the last at bat. That's the real advantage to playing at home.
  7. Most reasonably intelligent Brewer fans are rooting for the Cubs in this series.
  8. Plus I was completely joking.
  9. That kind of thing still hurts to look at. :( lol i forgot you were on that plane He meant the gas prices.
  10. I'm definitely pulling for the Brewers to win one of two tomorrow. The Phillies scare me only a little less than Arizona does. The Phillies scare me much more than Arizona does right now, considering we won't be seeing Arizona until 2009.

  12. http://www.funnypictures.net.au/images/oh-my-god-look-at-those-gas-prices-funny-motovatio.jpg
  13. Just sayin, if those are the prices that are resulting from the shortage, it must be nice. :)
  14. I posted this in the Ike thread but it didn't get much attention... it looks like, if there's a silver lining in all this, we can get better pitching match-ups set up for the Brewers series now, assuming that a game(s) aren't played Monday, either. Plus, a few more days for Z shouldn't hurt, as most of us wanted him to miss more than one start.
  15. It must be amazing to have this be out of the norm and the result of a crisis.
  16. They were busy speaking with Sweet Swinging Billy. awesome
  17. So at this point it looks like we can go Zambrano, Harden, Dempster in this series with Milwaukee if we want, no?
  18. I am absolutely LOVING that they put OPS on that Geo graphic.
  19. Why is it any different if the Cubs put out the B lineup in meaningless (to them) re-scheduled games than in meaningless games as scheduled, which happens all the time? The Cubs are under no responsibility to the Brewers to give the Astros their best effort (in terms of lineup/player use/etc...obviously the players out there need to "try" to win). Even if they were, it wouldn't take precedent over their own responsibility to give themselves their best chance to win a championship. I see resting the regulars for the playoffs in those games as a 100% non-issue.
  20. BUT THIS STUFF DOESNT HAPPEN TO OTHER TEAMS ONLY TEH CUBS CHOKE YOU IDIOTS god it's THE CUBS!!!!111 DONT U KNOW THAT ONLY US WHAT A JOKE
  21. I am really liking Sori's IsoD
  22. Because batting order doesn't matter. Especially when you've got a lineup full of productive hitters.
