the best part was that, iirc, it started because i didn't understand why someone would want to beat up a pitcher for hitting someone in the face instead of being upset/distraught over their friend getting hit in the face

Jason Heyward is a centerfielder who has been playing RF because some coach thought he was too big to play CF years ago. As for a backup, aside from the Javy experiment, they've mentioned Sczcur. There's also plenty of time for them to sign someone else with a good glove there.

this should mean a vastly improved slate of games as compared to when it was just NFLN taking crap games nobody wanted and throwing them on thursday. the problem for me with thurs night football was the shitty matchups. if they're good games, i welcome more days with NFL games (shitty as it is for the teams themselves and the short weeks and all that).
