http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2016/01/25/sports/baseball/ap-bbo-manfreds-first-year.html Fangraphs with a piece on what pitchers would be most affected http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-biggest-hypothetical-losers-of-a-raised-strike-zone/ Lester and Hendricks both make the list. Would it be worth the benefit to our dongsmiths, or do we have enough of a donging advantage currently where we're better off with things the way they are?
I really wish the Cubs had bought "low" on Harper last year when he was disgruntled and the Nats thought he wasn't worth the trouble. i want to go back and laugh at all the people who said they wouldn't want him because i'm pretty sure i wasn't one of them
I swear to you that when I pulled it up and posted that, it had the Orioles as second in baseball, with a 92-70 projection and a run differential 1 run better than the Cubs. I even refreshed and it stayed the same. Oh, well, whatever.
http://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=Standings#AL-E And why do they project to a slightly worse record than the Cubs with a slightly better run differential?
I wasn't around when it started, but guys have just posted or quoted "Geovany Soto" for a long time. I always figured it was because he was so great that one year. you've been around since 2005 so you were def around when it started maybe not as much but yeah
