that's what i figured Sorry, this was stupid me last night thinking that the Cubs started play on Thursday and I didn't see them on my guide. I do have ESPN on YouTube TV. Wait, even if YouTubeTV picks up Marquee Network I wouldn't be able to watch the games here? WTF? correct. it's an RSN and it's not available outside the cubs territory. some RSNs are available everywhere with certain packages, like on directv's all sports package, and you can watch the other programming (but not games), but Marquee won't be, at least as of now. if reddit streams aren't for you, you can easily watch them on mlb.tv though...and if you happen to have sprint or t-mobile as your cell carrier, you can get mlb.tv free right now (and a free one year sub to the athletic).

does youtube tv have espn? (even if youtubetv had marquee you wouldn't be able to watch outside of the cubs viewing area - but you can on MLB.tv - for games that aren't already being nationally televised, that is) Yes, YTTV has basically every near-mainstream sports channel save for maybe NFL Network. that's what i figured

Jose was my favorite Cub at the time, but even back then it was obviously an awesome trade. Jose Hernandez was your favorite Cubs player on a team that had Sammy Sosa, Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, good CPatt, Big Z, etc? I mean, your favorite could be whoever but that's weird as hell lol

i'm not sure if they made adjustments along the way but as the game went on, i was more and more glad the crowd noise was there after initially thinking it sounded bad. caught myself feeling like it was a real game when i looked away and was hearing it in the background. it would be really off putting and bizarre to hear silence and "hearing the real sounds of the game" or w/e probably isn't nearly as fun as it sounds and definitely isn't practical. that said, i think they could do a better job implementing it.

I am. The crowd noise is very pointless, it's basically constant white noise that turns up a little when something happens. that's kind of the point, no? i will say it's not particularly convincing sounding crowd noise most of the time but the whole point of adding it is white noise
