  1. jordan howard also did it before not being traded too, just saying.
  2. That's right, it was a Sunday night, don't know why I thought it was a Thursday night. they did start the 2019 season against green bay on nbc on kickoff thursday, so i figured that might've been what mixed you up.
  3. also it was a sunday night also the line/pass rush overall will look better with quinn back. i'm hopeful he's not far off given that they didn't IR him.
  4. football seriously though, I didn't hear about the no hitter until after the Bears game was ovep and I have most of my app notifications turned off (besides messaging) to prevent phone addiction. Same. I thought it was a joke. Someone needs to come to the football thread to let us know next time i knew about it and for whatever reason didn't even consider flipping over until i saw this tweet and then i saw he had it through 8 so i flipped the game on
  5. i have no actual knowledge of this nor do i have xfinity, but why wouldn't you be able to watch it on your xfinity app live? idk what the nfl rules are but usually when you have in market streaming as a verified tv subscriber you are not blacked out on anything you're able to watch on regular tv as long as you're in your home region. That would be great if true. I thought for some reason that even though I live in Chicago and am watching in market, you couldn't watch non-national games on an Xfinity app. I can’t watch anything from Marquee live even though I’m in market. Really? I watch live games all the time using the Marquee app. Do they not have an xfinity log in set up for it yet?

  7. This is definitely one that gets thrown around but I have zero idea to its accuracy. all the great ones that come to mind (and i get that this is sort of self-fulfilling as that's why their greatness comes to mind) did. peppers, strahan, white, LT to some extent, bruce smith
  8. pretty sure elite pass rushers do it for a really long time. almost as long as qbs.
  9. the 1930s throwbacks are being worn at home in week 14
  10. white on white forever just banish the blue ones from existence
  11. I like both i'd rather they dump the orange again in favor of the 40s throwbacks
  12. posting for any dorks like me who eat up team produced propaganda like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjQKJBZqJPg&ab_channel=ChicagoBears
  13. 1 tweet = a crusade?
  14. i'm so glad i finally watched this show during lockdown so that i actually get these references
  15. That tweet is a terrible summation of what Jahns wrote. There were some encouraging things mentioned in that article and the thing about it being easier to bench him easier was a throwaway at the end. That said, Jahns can be a bit of a homer, like the Bears KC Johnson, so we'll see if there's anything to it. Would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.
  16. Oof, Chris Duncan in the OF is an easy list topper there for me. Todd Hundley in the OF is close too. oh man somehow i had completely forgotten about todd hundley the outfielder
  17. do you and UM realize you're talking about a sample of 6 innings?
  18. I mean, if it wasn't specifically those two, it wouldn't be anybody you're not wrong lol i guess i just wanted to be clear that it was both of them and they are both getting a lot of buzz
  19. trying not to get overly excited about all the buzz coming out of camp about the tight ends (specifically graham and kmet) given how important that position is, it's no surprise the offense struggled with what they got out of it last year. even mere adequacy at that position would be a huge step up. if mitch could even be 2018 mitch with these guys, the team would be good again. of course, that all also depends on the o-line too.
  20. i really don't think the brewers had anything to do with anything a - he was right and the brewers were luckboxes b - people are constantly wrong on the internet, especially on sports message boards. nobody cares. he was a smart and respected poster here and i'm sure he was well aware of that. i doubt he felt so much shame that he had to rage quit.
  21. what gimmick? I guess you dont remember the game threads from 2018 not being a completely insane spaz about individual baseball games isn't a gimmick
  22. Didn’t realize that many Reds fans disliked him (I know, small sample of fans on the internet). Always thought it was how White Sox fans loved Hawk because he was their guy. They probably deleted a good hundred posts from the thread. There were bonkers defenders. Grade A schadenfreude. ha well horsefeathers. when i clicked the link i was shocked at how progressive they seemed to be about it fairly universally. at that point i figured you posted it for reading all the thom hate, which i'm always here for.
  23. he might be insanely good now?
  24. yeah grace is terrible dempster was surprisingly tolerable but i still think they should scrap it
  25. funny you say that. it makes me think of microsoft's old ISP every time.
