  3. Yes, yes you guys are.
  4. you might be right...i had forgotten about the jake/montero thing in that case, my best guess is russell, heyward, montero for 5, 6, 7 Is there a world where Miggy catches Jake every 5th day (I'd prefer Kyle, but whatever), Schwarber catches Anderson/Monty every 5th day, and Willson gets the other three? Or is Schwarber catching only in late game situations? Does Miggy get more than 20% of the starts? I can't imagine Schwarber being in any kind of regular catching rotation, barring injury. I know they've tested him a couple of times now, but I really can't imagine a situation where he'd be considered a starter with any sort of regularity unless Contreras got hurt or something. Especially given the quality we have at the position in Contreras and Montero.

  6. Almora will be in the lineup and batting 9th today so i'm guessing schwarber bryant rizzo zobrist russell heyward contreras (personally i'd flip addy and willson) arrieta almora
  7. i used to use the ATM there during games...the ATM lines are outrageously long in Wrigley usually, so I'd just say I was going for a smoke and they allow reentry for that. I think murphys and bernies both still have ATMs too though
  8. Is the 7-11 across the street gone? From this picture it looks like it. Yes, long gone. it's part of the addison park on clark project, unrelated to the cubs' projects
  9. I'm more so expecting that off Lynn, but Waino is possible too.
  10. Hendry's last season led to Almora, not KB.
  11. even if it meant anything (it doesn't), why would that "worry" you?

  13. What makes you say that? i might've misinterpreted what i saw and i'm having a surprisingly difficult time finding a good picture but they were supposed to
  14. looks like they're expanding the dugouts too
  15. Jr year of high school I used my neighbors sox tix. He took a date to the restaurant so we never saw him until the 8th when he came down to watch fireworks. Friend ha d I each had a stack of 12ish empty beers under our seats. He left shortly thereafter. What I'm saying is my career beer/inning is well over 1. i'm probably a shade below 1 if we're counting the 16 ozers they sell as 1.3
  16. i have yet to accomplish beer an inning...it gets to be too much horsefeathering pissing but if you give me credit for 1.3 beers for every one (fair, IMO) then i have done it, but in like 7 innings
  17. just to be clear, you know that's not new, right? I didn't say it was new. I just said it was weird just making sure...never know with you that weird shape is due to how they expanded the park a million years ago...they literally moved a part of the grandstand and built in between
  18. also who are all these posters who think heyward will be at least league average at the plate
  19. just to be clear, you know that's not new, right?
  20. first real-ish look at the new footprint of the field
  21. it's surprisingly doable and once i smell it, i can't not get it
  22. well he did hit 20 of them last season in like half a season lol
  23. well then call me a monster because i get buona beef just about every time now that it's available and i'll opt for a brat over a hot dog when it's not inconvenient
