  2. It blows my mind that ten years ago I was "who the horsefeathers cares what milton bradley does? he has a 1.000 ops" guy and i could be off, but i think most of us didn't give a horsefeathers back then

  4. Kreutz is a GD brain dead goon. Every QB "hangs their head" after an incompletion. It is the universal pose of a QB listening to the next play call on his headset. Body language nonsense is not the issue here. I don't give a horsefeathers what it is, they had a chance to bury both these teams and it didn't happen because of Trubisky' ineptitude.

  7. Why do we care about that guy? he's an entertaining nutbag who posts here?
  8. I'm not sure what would constitute going off the deep end for him. Is he typing in all caps and threatening physical harm to players? went on like a 10 tweet rant about how and why all his teams suck and they will suck for the foreseeable future

  13. Carpenter takes strike 3 looking on a full count with the winning run on 2nd. Cardinals lose.
  14. too lazy to fix that goofy formatting with the two tweets at a time also, fwiw [tweet]https://twitter.com/Cianaf/status/1039965401445060608[/tweet] and yeesh [tweet]https://twitter.com/Cianaf/status/1039952396984696836[/tweet]

  16. [tweet]https://twitter.com/Cianaf/status/1039956968541024256[/tweet] I know this conflicts with the numbers the ESPN guy put out there recently...I haven't dug real deep, but my guess is it's a conflict between "accurate" and what actually happened when whatever is defined as an accurate throw was delivered to one of our awful receivers.
  17. I would take the train to Union and Uber it from there. Another option would be jumping on the purple line to the red line down to Roosevelt and walking 15 minutes/uber/bus from there. Depends on what time you're planning to get to Soldier. With parts of Lake Shore under construction, combining potential Bears and rush hour traffic, I'd imagine it would be a nightmare to ride in an uber as opposed to taking the El to Roosevelt and walking from there. Yep, right now I'm leaning toward taking the yellow line in skokie to the red line or purple line express and taking that to roosevelt. Hope to be ready to leave around 5:30. Then maybe an uber home

  19. Going to this game. My first Bears (or any football) game since the Bears/Packers MNF game in 2010, one of the few times Jay beat GB. I'm both excited and dreading the misery of getting into and out of Soldier Field. Does anyone know what the least painful way to get there would be from the north burbs? Was kicking around either an Uber (probably still cheaper than parking there, definitely less stressful) or just taking the train from Skokie or Evanston.
  20. I'm fairly sure this defense is going to be insanely good, Rodgers crazy week 1 heroics aside, so if Mitch is just blah, the team is probably still good. If Mitch and the offense are actually good by the end of the year, then the team is really horsefeathering good, but one dominant unit and one OK one is more than enough to be a playoff contending team in the NFL. Not what we all want to see by any means, but yeah. And I'm still fairly optimistic about Trubisky at least being pretty good ultimately.
