  1. Suit him up week one. Isn't Donald playing? I don't think Roquan will be playing with many restrictions early on (or for long, either)
  2. Amos Jackson Fuller Amukamara Mack Smith Trevathan Floyd Bullard? Goldman Hicks yeah, i'd say so defense could be a top 5 unit in the league, coupled with what i think can at least reasonably be expected to be an above average offense. if the offense is actually very good, this is a way better team than anybody sees coming.

  4. wowowowowowowowowow woke up to a notification from the athletic on my phone. had no idea. holy horsefeathering horsefeathers!
  5. obligatory almora is so horsefeathering slow post
  6. is there a joke or board meme i'm missing here? i didn't think it was a strange thing to point out that there's plenty of recent precedent for managers to be fired after a season in which they went to the playoffs. doesn't make the made up narrative about maddon any smarter, but i didn't find that particular comment out of line, especially not by that idiot's standards.
  7. Hahaha wtf is a playoff manager? Jesus christ guys who managed in the playoffs last year and were still fired
  8. Did he really leave the board over getting his feelings hurt about how Grandpa Rossy (also GR, ha) was not a dick teammate? I want to like your post but I'm worried like something happened to him (health, etc.) he basically left immediately after the weird ass david ross meltdown search.php?author_id=2230&sr=posts
  9. it honestly blows my mind, looking back, that ren and stimpy made it onto nickelodeon
  10. If you have a TV provider with those types of options, I don't even why you wouldn't. Like a full directv package gets you all the RSNs they provide (or at least it used to). Just can't get the games on it. My provider (Charter) doesn’t offer that, may need to look at Dish or Direct TV if the Cubs network is on there. tbh it's probably not worth what you'd have to spend to be at that tier. i can't imagine that any original programming would be can't miss...and what is worth watching will prob be stuff you can see on the website or somewhere online. it'd be different if it were an a la carte thing but yeah.
  11. However out of market fans watch them now would almost certainly be the same way they'd see them on the Cubs network. This is really only materially different to the local market, in that there would no longer be any OTA broadcasts (WGN + ABC) and they would be on a different channel. If you watch them on Extra Innings now, that's how you'll watch them. If you have MLB.tv, that's how you'll watch them. Yeah that makes sense, still would be nice if us out of market could still get the network through a provider/app/streaming for non-game content. Though I don't know if that's feasible or even allowed. If you have a TV provider with those types of options, I don't see why you wouldn't. Like a full directv package gets you all the RSNs they provide (or at least it used to). Just can't get the games on it.
  12. For 95 wins need to go: 17-14 100: 22-9
  13. most subdued walkoff celebration i've seen them have IT STILL COUNTS THE SAME DUMMIES
  14. damn it...i was watching the csn stream and gordo's tweet came up and spoiled it for me! :flythew:
  15. Where the hell did they get wood seats from Wrigley (for that watch they're advertising)? They've been plastic as far back as I remember, and the plastic ones in the upper deck that are faded as all hell are really horsefeathering old.

  17. the abc deal and the wgn extension were both intentionally negotiated to end at the same time as CSN so they could move forward with a full slate with whatever they wound up doing
