  1. Everyone point and laugh at me for committing to go to a horsefeathers bulls game with my buddies tomorrow only for the Bears-Packers game to be scheduled at the same time. I hope there’s condensation on the floor again.
  2. Boyd, Horton, Cabrera, Shota, Taillon, Rea, Wicks, Brown, Assad, and (eventually) Steele and Wiggins is nice depth. Given options, Steele’s injury recovery timing, Wiggins’ readiness, etc., is keeping all of them possible, or are we likely to see one or more of them moved?
  3. …responding to a post about Kyle Tucker here fyi
  4. lol someone posted word for word “please send Shaw” and it incited six breathless posts from you calling people crybabies and bitches. What a spaz lmao.
  5. I really started following the bears in earnest in 2001, which happened to be Joniak’s first year on PBP, so he is the voice of the Bears to me. I’ve never had a hard time following the action with the radio call, but then again it wasn’t until the Bulls moved Neil Funk from radio to TV that I realized how many mistakes he made, so for all I know Joniak is doing the same thing.
  6. What’s better than one packers fan meltdown? A half dozen packers fan meltdowns supercut together!
  7. I know. I’ve seen it too. Not sure which to believe to be honest, but just pointing out that he may not be as laughably bad against velo as has been reported.
  8. Don’t know who Peter Appel is but fwiw
  9. As far as I know he hasn’t officially been shut down. After last week’s game, Ben said “all options are on the table,” which presumably includes shutting him down, but I think that’s the most substantive update we’ve gotten.
  10. He didn’t come back in. And agreed. I’m afraid we may have seen the last of him this year.
  11. I’ve wondered the same but I assume just an opportunity to recognize other guys on 53-man roster and send a message of “it takes every one of us”.
  12. I’m simply saying this board’s mission is not to expand the reach of baseball. Whether you like baseball or not is inconsequential to 100% of the posters here. If you’re going to hang around, great. But if you’re going to present yourself as an expert on all manner of subjects to a crowd of people 20-50 years your senior, expect pushback and snark. As Rex already said, try to learn something from other posters instead of charging in with ill-informed stances and digging your heels in. It’s also not the mission of this board to teach you not to be condescending.
  13. Please, Mr. Dugnutt is my father’s name. Call me Bobson.
  14. No one on this forum cares if you like baseball more.
  15. Aha, but by your own admission, he hasn’t completely eliminated all sacks from his game!
  16. Author, linguist, philosopher, economist, Supreme Court Justice
  17. If Javy keeps downvoting him enough, maybe he’ll get diarrhea and leave or something.
  18. All right, thank you kind sir. This will surely advance my career.
  19. Hey, this AI bot is alright in my book!
  20. This AI bot is turning out to be a real jerk.
  21. But the teams with the two best records are in Oklahoma City and Detroit.
  22. Please don’t leave before telling us if you like thick onion gravy.
  23. I’m not sure how anomalous this is. Looking at standings on this date in both 1996 and 1997, to use a few of the Bulls dynasty seasons as points of comparison, 6 of the then 29 teams had winning %s under .300.
  24. Very glad Illinois is still in the “we’re just happy to be here” part of their trajectory.
