  1. They’re not really even conversing with each other. They’re on two separate audio tracks.
  2. Prime Mike Trout with more speed?
  3. There’s also the one where you ranked PCA #10 in the system early in 2023. But there’s enough posts of you pining for him in the 2020 draft thread to counterweight that hot take.
  4. Bulls now have the third longest tenured GM/HC pairing after Riley/Spoelstra and Thibs/Rose.
  5. Is Long really in the same conversation as the other three? Or is this grouping primarily based on proximity to the majors?
  6. Bears draft grades from various publications: CBS B+ One of six teams with a B+ grade, behind ten teams with a grade of A- or better. The Ringer A- One of five teams with a grade of A-, behind five teams with a grade of A or better. Fox Sports A- One of six A- grades, behind 3 teams with A grades. PFF B+ One of nine teams with a grade of B+, behind thirteen teams with a grade of A- or better. Washington Post B+ One of seven B+ grades, behind one team with an A grade. NFL.com B+ One of nine teams with a grade of B+, behind sixteen (!) teams with a grade of A- or better. Yahoo B One of eight teams with a grade of B. Behind thirteen teams with a grade of B+ or above.
  7. I like the first four picks, Curious if the plan is to move Darnell Wright to the left side. That would make me a bit nervous but otherwise not sure what the plan is for Trapilo. The draft didn’t break their way for RB. Surprised at the lack of an EDGE.
  8. Seems like a fine deal.
  9. Another trade down.
  10. Oh I’m not excusing it. Feels wasteful. I’d have rather gone RB, EDGE depth, IOL depth, DB than a guy you probably could’ve signed off the street in a few hours. It’s a late fourth round pick so whatever, but it’s a peculiar pick.
  11. 35th ranked LB with a grade of UDFA on the Beast. We were due for a Poles reach.
  12. Generally positive grades for the Bears picks:
  13. They picked up an extra second. Now hold 56 and 62.
  14. 65 combined pitches in the first and zero runs scored.
  15. Jaylon Johnson had shoulder surgery six weeks before the Bears selected him.
  16. Yeah, looking through some boards, I see him at 20, 23, 27, 28, 34, 35, 45. Given how few teams are looking for a new QB compared to most years, it’s hardly shocking to see him still on the board.
  17. I wanted a TE and was leaning Warren but was going to be good with whichever of the two Johnson liked better. There was no way they were running it back with the same set of primary weapons as last year.
  18. Hell yeah. Ricky’s a good friend of mine so I’m biased, but any time he’s given a platform to take the Bulls to task it’s must watch/listen.
  19. Is anyone else even available? Aren’t Palencia, Thielbar and Keller all coming off back to backs?
  20. I agree in general that it’s not time to give up on him but…softly hit? EVs of 99, 104 and 91. xBAs of .980, .560, and .390.
  21. I think it’ll be a short stay in Des Moines. Let him get into a rhythm and get his confidence up and call him back up.
