  1. That's why I'm a little disappointed that we face them to end the season in what could be very big games. I'll be there for at least one of those games.
  2. I missed that prediction... REDS WIN!!!! Now here's to hoping they start sucking again beginning tomorrow. :p
  3. Disappointing double play coming up.:?
  4. Woot time for the bullpen to blow it. Again.
  5. Wait....Braun has at bats where he doesn't do something completely amazing? Who knew... Double Play! :D
  6. This umpire is absolutely horrible. Bases loaded now...........
  7. I wouldn't call Jones a "BAD" baseball player. Certainly not great, but saying bad is a real big overstatement.
  8. It's on page 8 of transactions, near the top (currently the 5th topic from the top)
  9. I guess the question is do the Cubs see Lilly putting up these numbers throughout his contract. If not, would it be a bad idea to trade him at his peak value in the offseason to free up cash for Zambrano?
  10. By the way, can I ask why Hee Seop Choi was included in this poll? What did he ever do wrong other than not performing the moment he was called up as a 23 year old? He was traded before we could ever really see what kind of player Hee (Corny, I know, sorry) could have become for us, and from the looks of it he never got a fair shot with Florida or LA either.
  11. First name that popped to mind was Todd Hundley. I was worried when I didn't see his name at first.
  12. While it's a stupid trade in the long run, it makes sense if you look at this season (kind of), and that's all that really matters to the Brewers right now.
  13. Wow... what happened in that Giant's ninth? I'm not going to lose sight of the fact that the Giants are a terrible baseball team. I fully expect Atlanta to win.
  14. Listening to the Cardinal's announcers is absolutely horrible, by the way.
  15. I don't feel good about this game. Zambrano can't keep falling behind and expect to win. Give him ten runs of support next inning, please. :thumleft: Ugh, bases loaded now =/
  16. Hm...who wins..terrible pitcher...or terrible hitters? We'll see.
  17. I'm guessing Dunn's bunting ability might not be good enough for him to consistently get it past the pitcher. I still might give it a shot against a pitcher who I was 0-9 agaisnt lifetime. Potentially, but lefties tend to fall off the mound to the 3B side. Dunn doesn't have very good speed and I'm guessing he bunts rarely as it is. You need a good bunt to get it past the pitcher and in fair territory. The odds of that happening compared to Dunn getting a hold of one or drawing a walk are not very good. Very valid point. Touche.
  18. Awesome, double play. Cinci's bullpen still blows.
  19. That's twice Cinci's announcer has pointed out that Milwaukee is giving Dunn a free base if he bunts down the third base line. The first time I saw a team play the shift like that, that's what jumped into my mind. It's amazing to me why nobody does it.
  20. God, just a matter of time before this disaster of a bullpen gives the Brewers the game. Offense. Please. Quickly.
  21. >_ Braun hit a home run. 1-1 =/
  22. Homerun for David Ross. 1-0 Reds lead.
