    Give me a break. A 38 year old adult kills himself doing coke (I'll rescind this if the toxiology shows anything different but I'm pretty confident given the circumstances and his wife's statements that it won't) and it doesn't change your opinion of him? A guy so self-centered and immature that he puts his need to get high and the related risks above his wife and young daughters? Yeah Shooter did some good things for AIDs but the stupid decisions he made which resulted in his wife becoming a window and two young girls being without a father make him less of a "good guy" in my book and definitely changed my opinion of him. Regular or stained glass?

    Especially from NY teams. Hopefully Kerry Wood pitches at some point during the game. Any chance Hee-Seop Choi could make an appearance? Maybe Eric Karros instead? Is Choi still in baseball anymore? Every time I see his name mentioned, I'm still awestruck at the fact that we were able to trade him away to a major league team to get Derrek Lee in return, straight up. A lot of people were against that trade.

    I just saw the Mets catcher do something I've never seen before. He pounded his glove twice on the inside of the strike zone to make Hall think he was moving inside, then the pitch was an outside fastball. I like it.
