  1. Thom Brennaman you are not paid to tell people what you think. Stop it.
  2. Am I the only one who noticed how good the announcing crew has been here? I haven't exactly been focusing on every word, but Davis and Alvarez seem to do a really solid job as analysts.
  3. What's the lineup for the other half of the games that O'Neal is hurt for? Don't hate, Cavs fan. Your bias is transparent. It's a serious question. O'Neal hasn't played anything approaching a full season in several years, and has had some trouble this season too.
  4. They need video of his knee being down and the ball not being in the end zone. The angle that showed his knee going down wasn't definitive on where the ball was, and the side angle that showed when he broke the plane couldn't see his body through the pile.
  5. hahahahaha
  6. QUITE FRANKLY, THESE CHEESE DOODLES ARE DELICIOUS I vote HatGuy.
  7. Notre Dame beat Bama and Maryland. UConn is #24 with only 2 losses, vote wise they're closer to not getting any votes than they are to #20 Memphis. The MVC has 4 teams getting votes, all of them in double digits. If they keep winning they'll get their due, same as any other team(major conference or not, see my Mizzou example).
  8. The opposite of that question is what I wondered. Are there really that many HS hitters that hit the ball hard enough for metal bats to be a safety hazard? I played mostly 3rd base in HS(2 years ago) at a reasonably high level of competition and I never saw anything that would give that indication
  9. Are those assistants just quitting football, or are they following someone to another job? I've heard Prince can be an abrasive personality. D Coordinator, Dbacks Coach, Strength and Cond. Coach, Offensive Coordinator are what I've been told so far. Gopowercat.com has only confirmed D Coordinator and S/C coach. Wow, that's quite a bit of the top assistants. Where are they going?

  11. There's only 2 ranked teams with 3 losses right now. UNI is the only MVC team with 2 losses and they haven't gotten any hype because they weren't supposed to be at the top and they don't have any marquee wins. Regarding SIU, their 3 losses are all to quality opponents, but who's their best win, Wichita? At this point in the season it's who you beat that gets you put in the Top 25. Take Mizzou for example. As of last week's polls, their two losses were to quality opponents(Purdue and Illinois) and they had shellacked a decent team in Arkansas, but they had a combined 1 vote. They aren't going to get any now if they continue to blow double digit leads at home to Iowa State, but if SIU or any other valley team continues to play well they will move up through attrition.
  12. Gordon is an excellent choice. I'll take Brandon Wood. I'm pretty sure Delmon would count.
  13. LeBron > You
  14. After all that jockeying for the wild card spots, not a single one of them advances to the next round.
  15. You have to read the content of what was written. You don't seem to be rational, listen...you mentioned top 25. OK, I'll write it again, Top 25. If Pitt....SFlorida.....Cincy play crappy AA teams they would undefeated and be in the Top 25 like Missouri was and the statement was that a SEC team played 6 bowl teams (ALL WITHIN IT'S OWN CONFERENCE). That was the rational. We are not talking about the bowl games at this point as I was talking about the regular season. Did you read the post? 2 of the 6 teams weren't even from the SEC. And like I just said, USF and Pitt both played terrible non-cons, losing to awful Kansas and awful Michigan State respectively. Cincinnati might've been able to crack the Top 25 had they not lost to Pitt at home, and yesterday they barely beat the 3rd best team in the MAC in their bowl game. They simply were not as good as Auburn or Tennessee.
  16. Pat White in his freshman year was about as bad passing-wise as Mustain was this year, and you can't tell me that Arkansas doesn't play better defenses than West Virginia does. We aren't talking about last year. We're talking about this year. This year White was a far better than Mustain and Dick, who you conveniently left off and is a sophomore and attempted just as many passes as Mustain did. This year, White had a far higher completion percentage, yards per attempt, more touchdowns, fewer picks and a way higher QB rating. Even if we were looking at each's freshman year, White as a freshman was better than Mustain. White had a higher completion percentage, more yards per attempt and a higher QB rating. Arkansas played 14 games, 6 of them against teams in the top 20. West Virginia played 13 games, 2 of them against teams in the top 25(and Louisville isn't exactly known for it's defense). There's clearly a strength of schedule component to consider with the difference in the quality of the two teams' opponents. Again, since the SEC has 12 teams and they do not play anyone out of conference this "top 25" thing is built on nothing. Read what I wrote about non-conference schedule, the top 3 SEC teams played 1 Bowl team...1. If Pitt, Cincy and SFlorida played AA teams out of conference they could have gone undefeated too and had a shot at being in the top 25. How did Arkansas do against USC? There is a reason these teams don't play anyone. They played USC(dominated a BCS bowl) out of conference, then Florida, LSU(dominated a BCS bowl), Tennessee(lost a close bowl game against a similar B10 team), Auburn(won a close bowl game against a similar B12 team), and Wisconsin(who beat Arkansas in a close bowl game). This is a tired argument, you're wrong. And Pitt, Cincy, and South Florida are not on the same plane as Auburn or Tennessee, not even if they played a joke non-conference schedule(oh wait, Pitt and USF already did). Even attempting to make this argument makes you appear like you can't be rational about the Big East.

  18. I've never seen so many timeouts to avoid substitution penalties before.
  19. They had the same conference record and Cincy beat them head-to-head by 17. You'll also notice that he put LSU in front of Arkansas even though Arkansas finished in front of them. It's because LSU beat them head-to-head and then they had opposite finishes(Arkansas drops the SEC title and bowl game, LSU whoops up in their bowl game).
  20. http://www.progressiveboink.com/dugout/archive/b46.html
  21. Thanks for beating the Pistons, Bulls. Cleveland handles the Nets at home to win their 7th of 8 games and take the top spot in the East. Hooray. They're headed to the west coast now for 7 straight road games before coming home for Orlando though. Yikes.
  22. hahahaha, a NINETEEN yarder? Enjoy the Pro Bowl, Tony Romo.
  23. I'd put Arkansas over Louisville and WVU.
  24. I was at the perfect angle to see Hannah get double teamed in the corner with about 10 seconds left. Me and the 3 other people I was sitting with all saw him say "timeout" before he fell down, with the same angle as the ref in the corner. He was called for traveling and Iowa State made the game winner on a put back after a missed 3. Needless to say we were not pleased.
  25. What's the lineup for the other half of the games that O'Neal is hurt for?
