  1. Has to be considered, that was just amazing.
  2. ahahahahahahahahahaha THAT WAS AWESOME
  3. I wonder what that feels like, to be nearly 3 feet off the ground and then have your legs drilled as you try to hold on to a ball you just caught.
  4. Well, 2 of them have money on it.
  5. That was worse than Thompson's pick 6, it wasn't even tipped.
  6. Formation penalty, hilarious
  7. Not sure about that call, didn't look catchable to me.
  8. I'm foreseeing OU getting the TD, missing the two, then getting the ball back on a terrible call on the onside kick before kicking a GW FG.
  9. It wasn't that hard a headbutt, and considering the BSU player got flagged for baiting I think it was probably the right call. It didn't look worthy of ejection to me.
  10. Wichita is falling apart. I know the game is in Carbondale, but they're getting racked and it would make 4 losses in a row.
  11. hahahaha, are you kidding me OU kick out Baylor, invite Boise to the B12
  12. That implies there was a time when he wasn't gambling.
  13. My ABC feed sounds like everyone's talking under water.
  14. And Florida lost to Auburn by a field goal on the road. They win in the Swamp. What happened is what happened. Florida wins 6-3 in a terrible game that almost everyone switches off halfway through. Michigan wins today 45-10. You still have Florida as champs? Without a doubt.

  16. :?: It's listed as being in HD. Maybe the pregame stuff doesn't show up on the HD channel for whatever reason.
  17. Are there any other QB's besides Quinn and Smith who are seniors or likely to come out in the draft? Because I'm seriously considering wanting the Raiders to pick him in the draft considering I would be surprised if Porter and Moss return next year. I know I doubted him before but I realize, with this bowl game, that he was really, really hurt by crappy QB play. Looking at a couple sites, Quinn, Smith, Russell, Brohm, Stanton, Kolb (Houston), Beck (BYU) will be in the mix.
  18. and? Thereare many players now who juice or have juiced. Seems like that would make the game pretty different as well. That's nowhere near the impact of having the mound ten feet closer. Ten feet is an enormous difference, it just kills reaction time. That maybe the case, but you just cannot leave Cy Young out of the list of the best baseball players ever. I didn't say that, merely that you can't equate that much difference in the actual playing field to the suspected steroid use of today.
  19. That's just not true. They played well offensively in the 3 previous games. They played 3 quarters of good-to-great defense in the TB and Detroit games. The only real bad game the Bears played on defense was probably the Rams game. Last night, they gave up yards, but only really gave up the opening drive TD. You want reasons the Bears will win their first playoff game? Vs. Giants- Bears are a better team, worse QB situation than the Bears, tons of injuries, mediocre defense vs. Seattle- Bears are a better team, injuries on defense, offense hasn't played together much, and hasn't run the ball that well this year, one of the worst run defenses, pass defense will be missing 3 starting DBs vs. Dallas- Bears are a better team, can't run the ball in recent weeks, Romo can't perform under pressure, defense has given up 39, 23, 28, and 42 in their last 4 games. But for every reason listed, you can make a counter argument of why the Bears could lose the game. That's the point. No one is saying the Bears are certain to win, but some are saying it's a near certainty that they will lose.

  21. Pat Summerall sounds like he had a stroke since he's been away.
  22. That's not true at all. There's debate on how ready he is for this year, but after a second year at AAA there's an extremely high likelihood of him being ready to contribute for the big club. I admit the bolt of lightning miracle line is a bit of hyperbole on my part, but essentially it looks like we agree. You're saying he needs 1 more year at AAA and I'm saying not ready before 2008....they're the same thing..no? I saw him play over a 1/2 dozen games in person in 2006 and it was toward the first part of the season, but he wasn't really close to ready. He played better in the 2nd half, but i think is right at about a .200 BA in winter ball. Not a good sign for a young latin player hitting against less than MLB quality pitching. I don't put much stock in his winter ball numbers. He's been playing with Licey for several years and hasn't done particularly well there, yet he continues to progress well through the farm system. Pie has shown an ability to adjust when he doesn't perform well, and that's what last year was. He dominated AAA in the second half to the tune of an over .900 OPS, he clearly was a different player than the first half. I'd be fine with giving the Pie the CF job this year. It wouldn't be best for the offense considering the other 7 spots, but that's going to be the case just about any year so I'd rather Pie go through any growing pains sooner rather than later.

  24. There's no way an NL team wins the World Series this year....
  25. That's what I thought. It went past the LOS. yeah but it sure didn't look like he ever left the tackle box. I always thought it was an either/or. I've always thought it was both. Nick Barnett looks like Mega Man.
