  1. I could listen to Brook Lopez talk for hours. And by listen I mean try to keep from falling over laughing.
  2. There goes Speights. Now to hope that Arthur falls I guess.
  3. NBADraft.net has them taking George Hill, an Indiana native. http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/georgehill.html But obviously someone will have a better answer than me. Courtney Lee was really impressive during the tourney. Wouldn't be a bad 2nd round pick. Lee won't last to 39, he's been considered as high as 18-20.
  4. Please let Spreights fall to 19. Koufos, Hibbert, and R Lopez getting picked to remove temptation would be stellar.
  5. Was someone holding onto Brook's tongue during that interview?
  6. Bucks drafted Yi. Ack, meant traded for. There's the answer though, great value for NJ.
  7. How far does Lopez fall? The Nets just drafted Yi, so he might not go there. The Pacers make a lot of sense, especially after the O'Neal deal. After that, the Kings all but said they were taking Randolph, right? And Lopez isn't a great fit in Portland either.
  8. Didn't they win 50 games a few years ago? I don't know, I was being hyperbolic. Point is you've gotta take Lopez over Love.
  9. Taking Kevin Love instead of Lopez exemplifies why the Grizzlies have never been good.
  10. I can work on editing in the summaries when I'm able to.
  11. Bill Walker will be a terrible NBA player. I still maintain Beasley will be better than Rose.
  12. I'm reading speculation that Miami could draft Mayo and then deal him with Marion for Brand and the newly acquired #4. Also, the Cavs might be using the Milwaukee deal to try to move into the lottery, possibly involving Varejao, the Cavs pick at 19, and the Bucks pick at 8.
  13. That would be a really shrewd move for the Sonics. Lopez fits a need, they add a future pick, and there's a chance a quality guard falls to them at 32.
  14. Well, a run per out is a good start, now to keep that pace over the next 3 innings without Lee, Ramirez, or Soto.
  15. seriously, do you think they called him up just to see if dave duncan could make literally anybody good? he walks 3.5-4 guys per 9 IP, strikes out only 6-6.5 per 9, gives up 10-11 hits per 9, good for a 1.55 WHIP - in springfield and memphis. he looks terrible on paper... les walrond's numbers have more upside that mike parisi. Twice in one week he's given up the walk off in extra innings. That Cardinal pen is really in sorry shape.
  16. I wonder if LaRussa actually thinks to himself, "I've been at the park long enough for one day", then sends Parisi out for the bottom half of an extra inning.
  17. This is game thread material, and you already said it there.
  18. I'd prefer giving Markakis at least a chance to get himself out there
  19. Villone walks in a run. That's like 4 for the Cardinals in less than 10 days. 1-0 Tigers
  20. For the love of all that is good and holy, stop swinging at Wellemeyer's slider. It's never a strike, it hasn't been a strike all year.
  21. The Tigers are awful, how many times can you do dumb things like this
  22. I'm glad Ryan Ludwick is back to being Ryan Ludwick.
  23. Barton GIDP with the bases loaded to end the Cardinal 2nd.
  24. Sherrill's closer to Marmol than Ceda if you're making that comparison.
