He's from the Cleveland area. I still can't believe that guy is super highly regarded. -
You had to ask.

Josh Shipp just committed about the dumbest late game foul this side of Arizona-UAB. Overtime coming.

ASU has cut the lead to 2 on UCLA in Pauley. 3 mins to play.
-
Gus Johnson just had to deliver the news that Myles Brand has cancer. It's just not right watching him be solemn on purpose.

Wait, Doris Burke is doing commentary now? When did this happen?

Nice to see Mizzou wipe the floor with the doormats of the Big 12 after a disappointing loss in Lincoln. 31 point win over Iowa State today. Big trip to Stillwater this week as both Mizzou and OSU could be bubble teams.

My favorite part is the "if there's even a little malfeasance, Saban's gonna make you pay with probation/scholarships". That and "I will become an even bigger dbag. That is my goal."

Woo, a 3 seed! Ah crap, the 6 seed already beat us.

I didn't realize the Cavs were starting Lorenzen Wright at a forward position, blech. Get well soon Ilgauskas and Wallace. -
I'm highly amused at the phrase "Top 25 Recruiter".

Carroll at the Press Conference:

Miles is also going to be our power lefty off the bench. After Hoffpauir. I'm still waiting to hear how Hoff is going to fit on a 5 man bench. If Cedeno is a goner, and it looks like he is, Hoffpauir has no competition unless they bring in someone else.

Aurilia would be a fine bench guy to backup a couple infield positions, maybe even a shrewd one depending on the cost and how well you allocate his playing time, but not on the same bench that includes Aaron Miles, because neither of them should be playing shortstop ever. I also don't think Aurilia gets anything of substance, money-wise.

He can't throw the ball down the field at all. Everything that comes out is a too-hot-to-handle laser beam that often times hits his intended receiver on the bounce.
-
I can't wait to laugh at whoever takes Freeman. He's just really, really bad at throwing a football.
-
Yes, maybe people will come to their senses and draft Coffman in front of Pettigrew, too.
-
My friend got the same email. Have they introduced Luis Vizcaino? The Japanese reliever.

Raines only got 22 percent? That's crazy talk. -
Awesome, Willy Mo is gonna get paaiiid.

On a reputation v. production basis, Young is one of the more overrated players in the game. He's a pretty bad defender at short, and his offense has declined to the point where he's not much better than Theriot.
-
I wonder if Sheets would go for something like 8 mil this year then a split option for 2010, like a 5-6 mil player option and a 15 mil team option.
-
It's an exchange of draft picks anyway. Give up this year's first to get a pick in the 20's plus a sandwich pick next year.
-
I really hope Maclin gets to go somewhere like Jacksonville where there's already a couple capable receivers, I think his pro career will go much better if he doesn't have to be the guy right away.
