Oooh, I forgot Ole Miss played today. I've always kind of sided with the whole Jevan Snead is a better pro prospect than Bradford crowd anyway. Me too. I haven't seen a ton of Snead, but he doesn't seem to be a very good passer. Although Bradford has his own set of issues, namely what would he do when he doesn't have an eternity to throw every down.

I don't think there's anything in football that irritates me more than second half timeouts being wasted. Navy's used 2 in their first drive of the 3rd quarter.

Nope, sounds like the Skins are cutting him even with Brennan going on the IR. Apparently they don't even have interest of placing him on the practice squad. Looks like they put him on waivers to see if they'll be able to put him on the practice squad.

I would hope. People used to talk about him like he was the most valuable player in the league, which he never was. Career OPS of .772. I'd rather wait on Castro. Those career numbers are weighed down by his first few seasons in the league when he was 20, 21, and 22 years old. The 3 previous years he OPSed .841, .775, and .833, plus 60 steals at a good clip, plus good defense at the most important defensive position on the field.

It seemed to work that drive. Oh, it serves them fine. It just makes it pretty much impossible to make any sort of comeback against a team, and I personally find it a boring style of football to watch for more than a couple minutes at a time.

Castro now with a .297/.354/.396/.750 line in 110 PA's for Tennessee, that's better than he was hitting with Daytona. He's got a 9/9 K/BB and is 4/4 SB too. -
If teams 15 and 16 tie, whats the tie breaker? I don't think there'd be a tie breaker, my guess is that both teams would have protected picks.

I don't really have any interest in whether Hendry is thin-skinned or not. In fact, I'd rather him err on the side of not putting up with any crap when it comes to the media, because their convictions and opinions are typically awful, and most definitely worse than Hendry's. Hendry should be able to explain his rationale, but if he'd rather be trite or not around when the media wants to try to convict him on his decisions, that's fine with me. -
Since he was DFA'd on Tuesday, a trade. Probably PTBNL or cash.

Diamond was a top prospect before Tommy John, they called the trio of Danks, Volquez, and Diamond "DVD". He always had terrible control, and it's been especially heinous since coming back from TJS. The K's came back though, so hopefully that means his stuff is still good and maybe a different organization and different coaches can help him with his control. Smart move to pick him up.

As in "left fielder", sure. Yes, and his advantage as a top of the line defensive LF compared to Fox's comically bad everywhere defensive LF mitigates the difference between them offensively.
