    Yes, 415-425 are the best seats in the park, take advantage of the poles that block low level suckers and enable the low upper deck. SeatGeek has 2 seats in 417 for $81 each, you might be able to do better as the game approaches but I don't have a good feel for how the ticket market will be with the Cubs as good as they are.

    Sure, it's a thing in his minor league career, but MLers won't be just handing him walks because he took a few more for a couple hundred minir league PAs. Almora not hitting for power has been around alot longer than him taking walks too, so there is also that. While he's a virtual lock to make the majors barring catastrophe, he seems more akin to a Ryan Sweeney or OF version of LeMahieu/Barney. Is the complaint here that Almora isn't going to be a 5 win monster? Something like Sweeney(.315 wOBA career) or LeMahieu's bat(90 wRC+) with plus CF defense is basically a 3 win player, and I wouldn't really put that as a ceiling on his offensive ability either.

    Almora has a 10% walk rate in 220 PA since returning from Team USA, I think it's safe to say that's a bit of a thing now. His highest previous walk rate was 6.3% at Kane County, so even if that 10% regresses there's still room for him to be markedly improved. EDIT: For the curious, his SLG is .431 in that span.

    Mets lose to the Marlins and are now 1-4 at home against the Phillies and said Marlins. They have a .247 wOBA as a team this year, which is like having an entire team of Jake Arrietas, only just the hitting version and not the pitching version.

    After XZero mentioned it last night I rewatched that and the last couple outs. Some great great Thomenfreude there, after he flatly says there's been a home run, he goes silent until after the next at bat is underway. Same thing with Rondon's 2nd strikeout, didn't actually say the hitter struck out, and didn't talk again until after Strike 1 on the pinch hitter.

    Warren is a shrewd pick for this inning. He's unlikely to come up in the bottom half unless the Cubs score(in which case he's coming out for Rondon), but if not he's able to get a 2nd inning and buy time in a likely extra innings game.
