I never actually saw a view with Romo on the base before Baez with the dust, although it was pretty easy to infer when you compared camera angles The play at home Baez was halfway to the dugout when the tag was applied and it was in full view even in real time are you guys watching the same broadcast i am? The point is that Baez was one jillion percent safe at home, any implication that it was anything less than a gross miscarriage of justice will be contested

He's up 2nd, so if they want to give up an at bat just so Bumgarner can face Heyward/Soler/Fowler at 100 pitches, I'm on board. i mean the went no DH with bumgarner, didn't they? I'll make no assumptions on how bright the Giants are, but Bumgarner has a .580 OPS this year and .531 for his career.

Looking at teams that might have a need for a 3B, the Braves make some sense. They have Inciarte, Blair, and some pre-MLB arms that could be interesting. Other than that you have the Padres(nothing to trade), the Dodgers(probably wouldn't trust 3B to Candelario), and A's(better than the Padres but no great matches). -
