  1. yeah the infield isn't going to play a big role in this at bat, Clint
  2. they're going to let Locke go a 4th inning? Against the top of the order?
  3. how in the world did he make that throw not only to get Baez at the plate, but it wasn't close where's the statcast replay on that
  4. Clint Hurdle, not content to have lost this game on merit twice, sends Locke to the plate to try to lose it a 3rd time
  5. JUST LOOK AT WHEN THE GLOVE RECOILS HOW DO YOU CALL HIM OUT
  6. Still not over this YOU CAN TELL WHEN THE GLOVE HITS HIM BECAUSE HE'S SWEEPING HIS ARM IN A CIRCLE AND THAT TRAJECTORY STOPS. WHEN THAT HAPPENS BAEZ'S ELBOW IS NEARLY TOUCHING THE PLATE
  7. this was all pretty evident from the regular angle and in real time, Tripp Gibson is just stealing money right now
  8. that is straight garbage, holy smokes you can see when the glove stops because it makes contact and Javy's hand is in the middle of the plate
  9. Rizzo is 9 for 24 with 4 home runs and 3 walks against Locke, a 1.429 OPS gotta have that matchup with the added pressure of a walk losing the game
  10. Jeff Locke has a 9.00 ERA against the 2016 Cubs in 18 innings. He didn't give up less than 4 runs in any of those outings.
  11. Chapman looks hilarious trying to make a pickoff throw, like a clown on stilts in a parade
  12. boy McCutchen's ancestors are probably ashamed of that showing
  13. looked like McCutchen swung and afterwards didn't know if he had a bat in his hand
  14. lol at the audible "horsefeathers you" directed at Harrison from the crowd
  15. I'm a little surprised that Montero wasn't the pinch hitter there, although I can see them not trusting him against Feliz's velocity. In any case I think it's both Coghlan and La Stella that are potential options in the playoffs, since signs are pointing towards only carrying 2 catchers.
  16. If Rizzo goes deep I want long, lingering camera views on Cervelli and Harrison Split screen if possible
  17. Appreciate you forcing the RBI single but save the energy for Heyward.
