    Im right there with you on any other Chicago team winning. I kinda want some stuff to put over my Grandparents grave marker and send pictures to my out of state relatives. To be clear, even if you plan on wearing that championship shirt once a week until it unravels, that's cool with me. I was just curious how common my approach was given the shutupandtakemymoney.gif reaction I'd seen thus far.

    Am I alone in not being interested in World Champs clothes? Like I'm overdue to get some new Cubs gear and probably will soon/over Xmas, but come next summer any T-shirt glorifying the title feels like living in the past to me. I'm more interested in memorabilia stuff like the press plate of the Tribune front page, or maybe a nicely made pennant, stuff like that.

    McLeod is wearing a navy or gray pullover every minute of every day, I'm sure of it also, Hoyer's UnderArmour track jacket with the W flag is pretty sharp

    Rizzo and Wood are the only holdovers from 2012 after Castro and Valbuena were traded away. 2013 was Rondon's Rule 5 year, along with Arrieta, Strop, and Grimm mid-season.

    Well, Wrigley Field is where all the scary mean lightning is, so I can understand his perspective.

    I don't think Cameron was really wrong with that one(unlike several of his other pieces this postseason), but I did feel like it maybe missed the alternate explanation, that even a tired Chapman was hitting 98-99 with every fastball and hitters have to respect it. That's still velocity that nearly no one else gets to with regularity, and a 10+ mph gap from his slider. Even though he threw slider after slider in that inning, he had thrown 90% fastballs as a Cub. Hitters have to gear up to catch up to 98-99, making it all the harder to square up a breaking pitch, even if they caught more of the plate than Chapman wanted.
