.268/.363/.488/.851 .281/.349/.508/.857 One of these is Geoff Jenkins, the other is Craig Wilson. Craig can't hit the ball during the day? .274/.380/.505/.885 the past three years, just as good as Jenkins's .294/.366/.527/.893 over that time frame. My bad on the day stats for Craig, I looked at last years only... .217 (he was hurt most of the year) Geoff Jenkins is a very streaky hitter, someone who looks lost at the plate for 9 strait at bats, then goes 4-4 the next day. Craig Wilson is exactly that, someone we don't need in the outfield. (I am not defending J.Jones in this conversation) Last year Craig Wilson had back to back 0-fers three times in around 60 games. Derrek Lee had 7 in 158 games last year. That's a pretty baseless and ultimately inconsequential reason not to want Wilson to shore up our joke of an OF. Craig Wilson shouldn't have back to back 0-fers, he is not a power hitter. This is getting out of hand. Yes, Craig Wilson is a power hitter, a pretty good one at that. And whether you are a power hitter or not, saying you shouldn't have back to back 0-fers is ridiculous. In his best season ever, Juan Pierre had 5 back to back 0-fers, two of those lasting 3 days.
