    Sorry Vance but I won't be able to make it up there this time. They messed my orders up, so I'll be on active duty up until the day of the game :( Maybe I'll make it down to Houston instead.

    4-5-4 I would love to do that, but I don't think it's too practical right now. A new tranny and some body work are on the list before the engine because I just put a new carb on it about 2 years ago and have done some other work to it. When I do get back around to it, I'll probably stick with the smaller 350 or 396.

    Did we get Kroeger as a minor-league free agent? He's doing really well so far this season, his .376/.404/.529/.934 line is really nice. I hope he can keep it up.

    No, he started fine and ended up a top 4 SS in most leagues. Maybe he's fading fast. Maybe he's just off to a bad start. either way, I'm offering you a pretty nice package for him. Sounds like a sell job to me.

    Sammy just got hit in the head again. The helmet didn't shatter this time and he was able to leave under his own power, but he is out of the game. He had gone 1-2 with a run scored in this 2nd game.

    If we can get top prospects just for Jacque Jones, I'd rather have Nick Adenhart With Adenhart's injury history, the injury history of the Cubs' pitchers I would be leary. He hasn't had an injury since his TJS, he's not got that checkered an injury history. It's our curse though, he'll probably tear his labrum in his first start in the Cubs' system.

    No suburban, but I doubt I'll ever get rid of my truck. Cars are just too small in useless. I got a "truck" too, but it's a Colorado with the inline 5 and a tiny 19 gallon tank. I've got a 1985 Silverado and it's still got the saddle bag tanks. It runs pretty good still, but I've been driving my dad's F150 lately because I'm trying to restore my truck.

    Will it be a straight start or a piggyback start for him this time out?

    Brackman has fallen like an anchor. His stats really haven't blown anyone away this spring. Right now he's sitting at 6-4 with a 3.65 ERA in 12 starts. He's been quite wild with 10 WP and he's only producing a K/BB ratio of around 2/1. Nearly a third of the hits against him have gone for XBHs as well.

    Snelling is starting to get around quite a bit. He was a top prospect once upon a time for the M's. He was a solid hitter in the minors. He hit .370ish a couple of years ago, IIRC. Hasn't put it together in the majors, nor has he really received much of an opportunity to do so. I think alot of his game is based on speed and he's had a ton of injuries. Just look at his DL history: Disabled List History: Jun 5,2002 - 15 Day Disabled list - (torn ACL in left knee) ... Mar 29,2003 - 15 Day Disabled list - (surgery to repair a torn ACL) ... Apr 30,2003 - Activated ... Jun 6,2003 - 15 Day Disabled list - (right knee tendinitis) ... Apr 1,2005 - 15 Day Disabled list - (torn meniscus in his left knee) ... Apr 15,2005 - Activated ... Sep 5,2005 - Transferred to 60 day DL. ... Apr 1,2006 - 15 Day Disabled list - (knee surgery) ... Jul 27,2006 - 15 Day Disabled list - ( impingement in his left shoulder) ...

    I'm in Tulsa and I'm blacked out of Cardinals, Royals, Rangers and Astros games. Should be considered a crime. But surely you get to see Cardinals and Rangers games on your FSN channels, right? The only team I get on FSN is the Braves on FSN South In Oklahoma he's probably got FSN Southwest which gets you Astros and Rangers (more of the Astros than anything else though, unfortunately).
