Rooting for another tie. But if one of them has to win, I guess it depends on what the Bears do today. Lose, and I'd rather the Packers win. 1.5 games up on both teams with both of them almost playing sudden death football for the final 5 weeks of the season. Win, and I'd rather the Vikings win. Still 1.5 up on the Vikings and the Packers would be all but eliminated. That means maybe they sit Rodgers with his knee injury and essentially give up on the season. Or if not, the Bears would have a good chance to eliminate them in a couple weeks.

Well, should be an interesting one today. It's been speculated that because this is Daniel's 4th or 5th year in the Nagy system, that the whole offense will be available today....maybe even moreso than with Trubisky, who has 10 games in the system......I don't think that will be the case from a physical standpoint. Daniel simply can't throw the ball like Mitch can. A lot of the deep stuff won't be available, which may be good or bad depending on how you feel about Mitch's deep ball ability. The key is going to be how Daniel handles the 10-15 yard throws. Trubisky has been really good in that area. Kevin White active today. With 240lb Ben Braunecker being the biggest active TE today, watch for White a lot in the run game helping to block on the edge. Good day to get Jordan Howard going. Probably going to have to soften up the defense with Daniel to get that to happen though. Defensively, you hate to ask them to step up and carry the team again on short rest.....but it's what elite defenses do. Lions don't have a ton of weapons out there. They still have a DL that isn't great and are terrible in coverage other than 1 player. They have an OL that gave up 6 sacks 11 days ago to this very defense. And it's going to be hard for Detroit to adjust offensively without their top WR and RB. I'm expecting a Bears win, but it may be ugly. I'd really like a scripted opening drive TD to have the D and backup QB playing with an early lead.

Not accurate. Vikings completed 8 of 10 for 80 yards against Fuller. He still gets a lot of targets his way. But Diggs wasn't as big a factor with Fuller on him because the Bears were actually trying to play real defense early in the game. That being said, Fuller is very good. Tyler Bray is on the practice squad. Keep an eye on the transaction wire. If they promote Bray to the 53, it means Mitch isn't playing. Of course, they could display some gamesmanship and not make any move until tomorrow morning.

Call me crazy, but I like the Bears chances against either of the 2 MNF teams. The Bears are the type of defense that can hold both teams under 30. I think if you hold them under 30, you have a shot at beating both teams. KC especially, cannot make a stop on D to save their lives. KC and LAR have combined to be held under 30 points just 4 times this season. One of which was the Rams scoring 29 to beat the Packers by 2. The only other teams to hold either team under 30 were teams who don't have the offense to keep up anyway. Oddly enough, Denver held both teams under 30 (other was Arizona to KC). The Bears' ability to stop the run and make those teams 1 dimensional against a great pass rush and with turnover causing DBs makes those completely different games than either team has really faced. Both teams last night have their share of pass rushers and do enough rushing the passer. But neither team has the combo that Hicks and Mack have been, combined with the ability to cover at all CB spots with a ballhawking safety behind them. I fully expect the Bears to win a cold weather night game in Soldier Field in a few weeks. Playoffs may be a different story, but I like the chances on winning in LA much more than winning in NOLA.

Almost 0. It was hurt on the Harrison Smith late hit, which happened on the final drive of the game for the Bears' offense. He only threw 1 pass after that (incomplete on 3rd down in FG range). But yeah, he's fine. He's going to play.

Chase Daniel probably can't beat Detroit. Even if he can, there's still no point to him or any backup QB that has no chance of competing for a job. It's a guy you hope never plays.

Chicago Bears: DE Khalil Mack 2020 second-round draft pick 2020 conditional fifth-round draft pick Oakland Raiders: 2019 first-round draft pick 2019 sixth-round draft pick 2020 first-round draft pick 2020 third-round draft pick So we're looking at just the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and possibly another 7th from Deiondre' Hall trade to Eagles in the 2019 draft. 2020 draft will be 2nd, Raiders 2nd, 4th, 5th, maybe Raiders 5th, 6th and 7th. It'll be scary not having that many picks in the upcoming draft, but Mack has already made that trade a "win" for the Bears. I think by 2020 the Bears will have a fair chance to be back in the black for comp picks so probably a sixth or seventh that year as well (which would be based on this offseason net losses) They'll definitely get a 6th and/or 7th round comp in 2020. They have a decent amount of FAs after this year that are likely to get contracts elsewhere (Massie, Amos, Lynch, Callahan are the top names) and don't have a ton of money to replace them in free agency. So they will definitely spend less than teams spend on their players. If Amos and/or Callahan leave and get top 10 safety/corner money, respectively, the Bears could potentially get in the 3rd-4th round comp area.

Marvin Jones missed yesterday. Doesn't look promising for him to play Thursday. So, that'd be their best 2 offensive weapons....though Golladay had a huge game yesterday. The Bears will likely be without Adam Shaheen and Aaron Lynch, who both suffered concussions yesterday.

Hicks was the best player on the field last night. Obviously, Mack and Jackson were also really good. And I think Leonard Floyd may be almost as big a key to the run game as Eddie Goldman has been. He doesn't allow anything to his side of the field in the run game. Excellent at setting the edge.

The INTs he throws typically don't bother me as much as those scary ass throws to WRs that have DBs draped on them in the middle of the field. He's been extremely lucky not to have a handful of those picked off this year, as those are the type of passes that get bounced up into the air with LBs roaming.

About how I imagine he'll play against really good teams. Dominate the bad teams. Mediocre against the good teams with God-mode defense, and I'll take it for now.

I hate that the final score doesn't show how truly dominant an ass whooping the Bears put on them. I also hate it because it meant that important defensive players were still on the field late when they have a game in like 84 hours.

For the record, I know that was a miscommunication with Rudolph.....but even if Rudolph did do the out-and-up that Cousins thought he was doing, it was still going right into a 2-deep safety look that wasn't even disguised at the snap (pointed out by Collinsworth).
