    Just got here. It's always a fun game to read the game thread first and try to guess the score based on the game thread. Sounds like Jake got shelled and maybe Joc hit a home run? So...5-2 Pitt? Oh, Cubs are winning. That makes sense.

    Other notes: Ethan Hearn may get replaced soon. A .108 batting average, 3 passed balls (today) and a throwing error (today) are not good. Uekert may hit Iowa pretty soon. Howard getting on five times in seven PA is nice.

    Bold move for the Myrtle manager to put his reliever out there for his fourth inning of work after he gave up five runs in his first three innings.

    I felt like the chemistry wasn't there between Boog & JD for a while. But I thought it just might take a while for it to come around. And I think it has - they've been pretty great recently. I still miss Len and I still feel like Boog sometimes sticks to his national announcer roots too much. But he'll come around with time and start to live and die with the team he covers every day. In short (IMO): Current Boog is fine, but.. Recent Len > Current Boog I think Future Boog will be just as good as Len.
