    He half-assed two balls in the dirt. The first let the run score, the second let Rizzo go to third, which caused the IF to come in, which let Zobrist's ball to get through for the third run.

    WGN camera guys blew that one. I was waiting to see his sad trot back out to the field. our division has a lot of hateable jags at 2B...phillips, harrison, wong, scooter At least Phillips is an occasionally entertaining jag.

    Right. Note how low the Rangers and Indians (both of whom will win their divisions with ease) are. (I much prefer the "Season to Date Stat Mode" results, btw)

    The big difference in the odds is in the NLCS vs ALCS. The Cubs will face a much more difficult team in the Nationals/Dodgers than Boston would with either Cleveland or Texas.

    As long as Angel Hernandez exists, Joe West won't be the worst.

    Maddon pulled the standard manager move of having his infielders visit the pitcher before he walked out there so that Chapman would get a couple extra warmup pitches. West told Joe he couldn't do that for some reason even though it is done in EVERY game. So Joe just walks out to argue with him instead so that Chapman gets even more warmup pitches. Problem solved.
