    It was awesome watching him yesterday, such a pro. Stark contrast to the anxiety-filled meltdowns we got from Chatwood. You figure Cole is energized going to a contender and my guess is going for one more contract? Looks to me like he's got something left in the tank. And now that Chatwood isn't ruining every fifth day for me I can stop hating him and hope he gets his horsefeathers together. No way do I want this guy taking up a rotation spot ever again, though.

    I don't follow, was it a money thing or were there other reasons he didn't want to be a Cub? Seems like he and his family really enjoyed being with the organization.

    I really thought starting pitching was going to be the strength of this team this year. They need to find a way to acquire a real difference maker this offseason. That being said I like the bullpen adds and hope we can squeeze something out of Hamels this year. Would be awesome if he gets on the Justin Verlander contending team rejuvenation plan....

    Seems crazy that the Cardinals wouldn't trade at least Bud Norris too. Probably one of their square-peg/round-hole position players as well (Jose Martinez).

    Braves comeback. Most improbable, crazy weather. Probably has to be #1 Today. Bote emergence has been a fun ride. We also might have passed Tyler chatwood like a stone. Heyward granny was awesome. It's finally good (great) to be a cubs fan.
