    I think that Selig has done many great things for the game and generally gets an unfair rap. This though, is absolutely absurd if true.

    While on my way to the game on Saturday, the tent next to Casey Moran's (Clark and Waveland) was having a clearnace sale. Everything there was $5, and there were some Sosa Tshirt jerseys.

    Remaining common off days: 7.15 (day after allstar game) 9.3 (likely the 6.16 makeup date) 9.10 (would create 32 consecutive days with a game for the Cubs, 24 for the Sox, when coupled with a 9.3 makeup) As I see it, if something were to happen today, either a 9.3 double header, or a weekend crosstown double header has to happen. That said, it is clear blue skies from my loop office window.

    Agreed completely. Zambrano Lilly Dempster Harden Wells I am a fan of Marshall, but who does he bump from the rotaion at this time? I am perfectly content riding Wells hot streak. Plus it'll keep some innings off Marshall arm.
