  1. Having sat there Opening Day, no. It used to be the three rows in left field )prior to the bleacher renovation. Now it is section 101 way down the LF line.
  2. If he isn't lobbying for the fan interference call there he's not doing his job. On something so clearly not fan interference as that, he's only going to lose goodwill with the umpires. A beer came toppling towards his outfielder while the ball was in play. He had better get out there. The fan was reaching for the ball and his beer missed the outfielder. It was obvious from the get go that there wasn't interference. Agreed, from the camera angle presented. From the dugout, from the field, maybe not so much.
  3. Which is a shame because it was obvious he did not intentionally spill his $8 beer down onto the field, it appeared he was looking up at the incoming ball and nothing more. While I agree with his intent not being there, ultimately I think it should be his responsibility for the thing entering the field.

  10. all useful big men. was Perdue and Longley ever on the same team? If I recall correctly they signed Longley then immediately traded Perdue for Rodman. They were all on the same team in the 94/95 season after the Bulls traded for Longley.
  11. Rose. That is all. Rose.
  12. Isn't "up to him" the same as "Yes" ?
  13. Some other team might be willing to see if he reaches his potential, while the Cubs have plenty of young pitchers with more potential and smaller contracts. I smell a four team trade brewing.....
  14. Scattered singles and a few pairs are still available from the playoff sale.
  15. INSANE
  16. Yeah, he's getting warmed up on three pointers and "and-1's" with 2 minutes remaining.
  17. I can't find CBS's leaderboard, but here are the perfect brackets through 18 games: Yahoo - 45 ESPN - 141 CBS - ??
  18. It may have been posted already, but the broadcast said earlier that playoffs tickets go on sale next Friday at 11.
  19. It may have been posted already, but the broadcast just said playoffs tickets go on sale Monday at 11.
  20. After reading the last three pages of the Saber thread, this is the first thing I thought of. http://therionarms.com/reenact/therionarms_c1292a.jpg
