To add to Mizzou's list of thugs: Stefhon Hannah was held out of action and Coach Anderson was REALLY pissed after the game. Rumor has it that he's been skipping class/showing up late for meetings and practice. Who knows if it's true, we'll see if he plays today in the exhibition against UMSL.

I'd love to land Schilling, if we couldn't sign A-Rod, Fukudome, or someone else to fill our SS/CF/RF needs. If Hendry could cut ties with Marquis's contract and replace it with a 1 yr/~$12-13M deal, I'd be all for it. A rotation of Z/Lilly/Schilling/Hill/Marshall-Gallagher would be excellent.

I had no faith that the Cubs would sign A-Rod this off season, mostly because I didn't think he'd leave NY. Now that he has (probably), I feel there is a glimmer of hope, no matter how small it may be, I feel like Hendry might be able to get the job done. I'm not sure if it'll happen, but I'm fully ready to order my Alex Rodriguez jersey :D
