No freaking way. He ruined our chance at the World Series. He, along with the goat, should be banned from Wrigley.* *I do not believe any of what I just said, and I also don't believe this story. Sounds like complete crap to me.
...wherein we fool non-subscribers into thinking they're going to get fantastic movies and first-run original series every night, but then, once they've subscribed, just play Weeds every single night Hey I like Weeds.
I don't care. I think we match up very well with either team. I'll probably root for the Rockies because I like Holliday and Atkins more than anyone on the Phillies, but it doesnt really matter to me who wins.
Wednesday = Good. Don't have to skip class Thursday = Meh. I'm going to the Smashing Pumpkins concert but I should get to see the last inning or two. Saturday = Dumb. I was hoping it would be an afternoon game since I have to work the Mizzou-Nebraska game Saturday night. I have to be in the Press Box by 6 CT so I'll miss most of it unless it's on the TVs in there (very possible) Sunday = Works for me. Cubs day, Bears (lol) at night Tuesday = Again works for me, but hopefully it won't be necessary.
Man, Saturday night is going to be insane. Upwards of 70,000 people there, arguably the biggest game in Gary Pinkel's career, Gold Rush (which I'm sure will suck because half of our fans are morons), ESPN, it should be nuts.
The cops were being A-holes. They were pushing us all over the place for seemingly no reason. Nobody was doing anything stupid; just a lot of screaming and yelling and chanting. They better call in the entire Illinois police force if the Cubs ever win the WS.
