  1. Oh Hendry, if only you realized that its more than just BA and HRs that determine whether a player is good or not.
  2. Marshall Brown misses the first, makes the second, third one coming up... and makes! (yes I just edited it, I put and missed for the last second three...shhhh) Mizzou wins 71-69 on the road against #22 OU!
  3. Mizzou goes to the line for three free throws tied with 1.8 seconds left in the game.
  4. Mizzou could easily win this game at OU if they stopped fouling and stopped letting Bookout get tip ins. I wish I was at school so I could get the game on TV.
  5. Question: When will we know what team Sutter will go into the Hall with?
  6. 50 years is a long time. I don't think I'll make it 50 years rooting for and putting money into this organization.
  7. Giving them to ndistops so he can go and root against the Bears just like you would, probably the best option. Fixed. Actually, I don't have a passionate hate towards the Bears. If it was a Viking game I might just rip the tickets up out of spite. I have roots in North Carolina as I spent my college days at Chapel Hill but never really liked the Panthers. Either way, it should be a great atmosphere and fun to watch a playoff football game in another stadium besides Lambeau. Have you ever been to Soldier Field? Yes, although I do not particularly like the inside of the stadium, the outside/surroundings sure do beat Green Bay... Haha ohh, I was gonna say the exact opposite. Well the surroundings are cool because it's Chicago, but I thought the outside of the renovated stadium looked awful, but I was very pleased with the way it looked on the inside.
  8. What day is the official signing day?
  9. Come root for Mizzou, make your season even longer. Pfft, we Mizzou basketball fans have it best. Win, great, yay Mizzou. Lose, Quin comes closer to getting fired. Can't lose. Haha good point. However, when a loss is to SAM HOUSTON STATE, you can't help but want to hurt small animals (or something similar). True, but they looked great at both ends of the ball yesterday, did you see the game? If Jimmy McKinney decides that he's a baskeball player every game like he did against OSU, who knows what could happen with this conference. I didn't get to see any of it, unfortunately. I saw Gardner was his usual self and its good the Jimmy McKinney we thought we recruited was there too. If they play like that all conference season long, I think we could sneak into the tournament. I still wish I could've seen highlights or something from last night though.

  14. Giving them to Cubbies75, probably the best option.
  15. This game is getting nuts. Cowher is gonna kill Polamalu.
  16. I never understood why they didn't go to Davis more inside against Illinois. On a side note, my sleeper for last year going into my favorite team to watch this year, the Villanova Wildcats, dropped their first game today.
  17. against the spread would be the only way. straight up...the Pats no question. If there was like an entry fee or something, I would've picked the Pats no doubt, I knew they were gonna win. My bracket is basically the "if this happens I will be 100% thrilled with how the 2006 postseason went" bracket :-D
  18. I don't like Eli Manning whatsoever, but I kind of fear for his life if he plays the Bears next week. He will make so many mistakes with that pressure from the D on him all game.
  19. It's really bad, particularly the B12 North. We may only get five, even four, teams in the tourney Do you think Kansas will be one of those teams? I haven't paid very close attention to them this year, but I saw they had a nice win tonight and Rush had a very good game with 24 and 12. How are the young guys adapting? I'm looking forward to getting back into Columbia next weekend so I can make the game on Monday. I honestly don't know. It was a very nice win today, but Kentucky's quality is extremely suspect. The kids do look like they're getting it, though. the CU game this week should be a good indication. (First real road game, CU has only two losses). I figure OU and UT are locks. After that, there are a number of teams that could go: OSU, KU, aTm, CU, ISU Teams that I doubt will go: NU, MU (sorry, but a win against OU will change my opinion), KSU, Tech and then baylor can't go. The reality is, though, no team has played well enough to separate themselves. It's just a pretty weak league. I agree. The league is exceptionally weak this season. I honestly don't see any way Mizzou dances this year, unfortunately. They are coming along as the season moves on, but I fear inconsistency will once again play a huge role in our Big 12 season. However, if somehow Mizzou sneaks into the tournament, I fear it will save Quin's job for another season. It'll be bittersweet, just as the Independence Bowl win was in terms of perhaps saving Pinkel. But hey, it's a long season, we'll see what happens. You gonna make it out to Columbia for the MU-KU game the 17th snood?

  21. If the Iowa fans didn't storm the court, they'd be disrespecting the Illini program. ;) Right, you know Illinois has lost like 1 home game the last decade, yet we weren't even mentioned the entire day when they talked about hardest places to play at. But, that's ok just keep acting like our program doesn;t exist and get all fired up when we lose espn. plus doug "credit card" gottlieb tried to compare ther 4 guard system at villanove to our 4 guard system. saying theres were better. First off we only had 3 guards last year, secondly name me one of there guys who will be the third pick in the draft. What are you guys complaining about?? At least you don't have Stevie Alford for a coach - that is something to complain about. I see your Steve Alford and raise you a Quin Snyder.
  22. Damn, my stupid pick of the Jags (and hatred for the Pats, Colts, Broncos, and Steelers) already has my bracket screwed, haha.
  23. Haha I'm halfway through a pint of "Chocolate Fudge Brownie." I feel your pain.
  24. I hate dumb people.
  25. I'm all for it.
