  1. Soriano is really starting to piss me off.
  2. Sucky Sori up to kill any chance of tacking on.
  3. Leadoff man on. Can we do something with this please?
  4. Seanez hasn't allowed a hit this year? Sheesh.
  5. Actually no, it wasn't. you're not a fan of outs? yeah, it was risky, but it paid off. come on kerry. start throwing strikes. I'm not a fan of horrible throws that require a player to bail you out to save the game, no. 4 foot tall Theriot was able to catch the ball. The throw couldn't have been that bad. It was bad. Theriot's not 4 feet tall. And it didn't yield anything anyway as he walked the next batter. And Lee just saved the game for the 2nd time that inning.

  7. Certainly looks that way. It looks like the tradition of rooftop viewing at Wrigley has its roots in the West Side Grounds. Neat.
  8. You're starting to piss me off, Cubs. You don't want me to come down there and open up a can of whoop-ass on you.
  9. Dammit I knew we would suck tonight.
  10. they do the same with NFL sunday ticket I'd rather have it automatically renew. Here's how hard it is to cancel: type http://www.directv.com into your browser and click a few times. you're hilarious. you shouldn't have to tell someone you don't want to buy something. what if you're out of town when the letter comes or it gets lost in junk? Come on abuck. Gets lost in the junk? Don't you read your mail? There are lots of important things that might get "lost in junk" if you don't sift through that stuff. What if the IRS audits you? Besides, why don't you just cancel after the season if you know you won't want it the next year?
  11. Soriano, Theriot, and Ramirez have lit him up pretty well. And nobody else has more than 6 PA's againt him. I'd be more worried if Hamels sucked. He's a lefty though, and last year he pretty much dominated us. :help:
  12. I'm a little suprised Lou is making all these changes so quick, but I suppose it should be expected since he's kind of known for doing that sort of thing. I'll give it another week, see where we are at. 6-4 isn't too bad for the first 10. I'm kind of worried about these next 2 against Philly though.
  13. Losing streaks directly following a winning streak are dumb. Don't be dumb, Cubs.
  14. So what should this club be doing to avoid the dreaded "winning streak followed by a losing streak" rut that has seemed to happen regularly the past couple years? I've got a bad feeling about this now.
  15. There's a danger, sure. I want Hill to succeed, and I think now is way too early to yank him out of the rotation. But he needs to get this thing together soon or there might be no choice. And Liebs would be the guy Lou goes to, I'm sure.
  16. Didn't Pujols come directly from A? That doesn't sound like an average prospect to me. Sounds more like a shooting star.
  17. Yes, yes it is I think even channels like Lifetime, Ovation, the freaking Oprah network (whatever it's called), and all the religious channels are more interesting than WGN outside of the Cubs. At least those channels don't pretend to be good channels. And if you are talking about oxygen, then you obviously are not familiar with the Bad Girls Club. That is some high class comedy. Never seen it. But I'd be more inclined to tune to that than any of the warmed over junk WGN likes to call "programming." What's truly funny is that WGN can't offload Cub games fast enough to other networks. FOR WHAT? What is this great programming that should displace nationally televised Cub baseball? It's the single worst-run TV network. I don't think it's even close. Public Access TV is better.
  18. I've been wanting to punch that punk for the longest time.
