    The problem was have now, gents, is that we are now counting on a D that has clearly showed it can't stop the Falcons offense.

    Nope, they were right to go for it. pretty decent odds for a safety if they don't call that penalty How is there ever decent odds for a safety? Without the penalty, they probably handoff to the FB or a QB sneak to get some room to run the offense. It's 2 downs from the half yard line. While I wouldn't have complained if they took the FG, you can't claim it wasn't a good opportunity to get the TD that you need.

    I disagree. They're right there. There's no guarantee they'll be right there again. There is also no guarantee that you get the ball 2 more times if you fail to get in the end zone. Worry about getting the TD when you have the ball down 6 There's no question you're accepting it as do or die if you go for it. I still think it's the right call, though. Unbelievably poor blocking on that 4th down play, IMO. The 3rd down play was a horrible play call by Turner. Just not getting the solid, consistent game plans, play calls, and execution from this team. It's a .500 ballclub at best.

    Our pass D is questionable when healthy, abysmal with a couple injuries. We have exactly ZERO DB depth on this team. You may as well lay Till & Vash' jerseys down on the field. And our 4 man pass rush is positively abominable.

    They're just raping our defensive secondary. I think we need a complete overhaul, starting with the safeties. I haven't seen jack from M Brown this year. I don't know if he finally suffered one too many injuries or if he's trying to keep himself healthy, but he's not close to what he was. Not even in the same ballpark.

    Why? Poor game planning? Poor gameplans, not really sold on the defense due to the 2 big breakdowns earlier in the year -- they've sucked in pass defense all year from what I've been seeing. Seeing that big time today. The offense was nice to see, but you can't just take 4 or 5 games and say "the offense is good now." I just didn't see how it added up to "good team." I needed to see more. Not seeing it today.
