Agreed, he should have defensive POY closed to locked up by now. If he continues to perform at this rate he will probably get some MVP votes. Has a defensive player ever won MVP? LT That trade will go down as one of the worst, or THE worst, in Chiefs history. When you suck at drafting, trading a once-in-a-generation pass rusher like Allen for picks is tantamount to giving him away. And that's how it looks to be playing out. What a turn of fortune for the Vikes. It's like their Cutler trade, except probably even better.

We paid him lots of cash, and it seems clear he won't be able to live up to the expectations, which were very high. That doesn't mean he can't play at all, but not at that level. -
The lack of progress is still astonishing, even if you should be expecting it.

same exact thing went on when we played the saints in the nfccg yep, i remember that interview, too. Much as I might complain when Chicago reporters are too critical, it sucks even worse when the media are total homers and refuse to acknowledge any weaknesses. -

would he have been taken ahead of stafford? he doesn't seem to have the pro tools. He would likely have wound up on a bad team, but a very rich man.

He landed the same way he did the first time he got hurt. Yes, but you could see the brace on his shoulder, sticking out. Seems reckless to risk aggravation of that injury.

Bradford's out again. The hit really wasn't all that violent. Makes me believe he shouldn't have been playing.

His own coached called him a potential bust. I'm not saying it's true, but it's pretty clear he has been a big disappointment in Tampa. I don't know, I'm scratching my head a little on this one. I understand the need to get younger, but that's a large contract and we needed that 2nd rounder. -
Bah, I can't find it but I remember one where the announcers were basically crying as they watched the other team run back a kick in the last seconds to beat their team.

I haven't checked every game's stats, but it seems like every time I see the shots stat it shows the Hawks with a sizeable advantage. I'm loving that. Just keep out shooting teams.

That explanation ignores his drops. Of course. I kind of like seeing Dez come to Greg's defense, though. He's still not having a real good early season. Nothing Dez said changes that.
