  1. I don't know how the hell we fix this secondary by giving away good picks. I'm scared for this D's future, I really am.
  2. Welcome to getting blown out by Cincy, Chicago.
  3. What a pathetic excuse for a football team today. We look like the [expletive] Browns.
  4. the rebels offense was bound to wake up at some point this season, just like they did last year at about this same point. just too bad it was against your hogs. and ya, arkansas are shooting themselves in the foot with the drops and the rifle throws. 17-0, rebs now. Yeah, Mallet has been off target, trying to hit home runs too often. .....now he's put together a couple nice throws.
  5. Bah, NW looks bad.
  6. I think the Bears need CB more than safeties. But last week they also needed DE help. We'll find out this week if they miss Tommie, which will give us a much better idea of what kind of value he still holds for this football team. I find it hard sometimes to judge a DT by # of tackles, or # of sacks. I know Tommie hasn't been bursting through the line like he used to, but that might not be the whole picture.
  7. I'd feel more confident if this was a home game, but right now I'm picking a very close Bears win. 23-20.
  8. Could we keep him? Or is that bridge too badly burned? I'd love to get good talent in return, but if that can't happen then I'm inclined to want to try another year. I'm concerned with the level of talent on this club. You throw aram or lee on the DL, plus no Bradley -- that's potentially many days of bad baseball.
  9. Once you have Taguchi, can you ever really be rid of Taguchi?
  10. Well, you're not going to find out if he can be productive by leaving him on the bench. If anyone believes he has a chance to be an NFL QB, then I struggle to conceive a reason why he wouldn't be playing next week. Especially if there's a big contract clause kicking in soon.
  11. When you're the [expletive] fourth pick in the entire draft and you can't even get 700 yards rushing in a season with the amount of carries you got and then you go out and drive and boat while drunk, you shut your mouth! YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND KEEP YOUR QUOTES OUT OF THE PAPERS! Haha, nice. Somehow I don't think Benson is the type to do that :) The Pisa news really sucks. It seems every year this team can't really stay healthy. I don't know what could possibly be done about it at this point. We've got the strength/conditioning coach everyone says is a guru. It's a pretty helpless feeling. Who will be next? Probably someone who is having a good year.
  12. I don't understand why Jerry would even mention something like that.
  13. That's awesome. Good for him.
  14. Don't need to. I already saw his throw last year to "beat" Atlanta. Yeah cause only bad QB's can have a bad throw. I was referring to his TD throw that gave us the lead with 11 seconds left. I've always been a supporter of Kyle's for the most part.
  15. he got away with a TON of holds too, he had Abraham in a head lock most of the 4th quarter I see many more OTs get away with that move than just Pace.
  16. I don't think the Bears know what to do either, other than ride out his contract and try to squeeze out whatever they can from him.
  17. Well, in terms of overall defense, the Bears are currently ranked 7th. In terms of points, they are 15th. Rushing ypg, 6th. Passing ypg, 14th. Certainly it's still early. I was fearing worse than this heading into the season.
  18. Don't need to. I already saw his throw last year to "beat" Atlanta.
  19. Could be. Seems like the right move to me. Now they obviously need to work on the OLine, a big WR target, and COACHING out those red zone INTs (yes, Jay Cutler still needs to accept some coaching, and the Bears need to provide it, IMO).
  20. God. When do the Packers have to play an actual football team?
  21. New QB would make Fox look like a much better coach, I think.
  22. LOL, Ochocinco is hilarious. The thing about him is, after the game he'll probably complement everyone on their performance. He did that with Vasher a few years back.
  23. I agree 100%, Cutler and it's not even close, Orton success is due to those many other factors previously mentioned. I have noticed he's making some fantastic throws, threading the needle, just fractions from being intercepted. I don't know if his accuracy has improved that much or he's been a little lucky. I do agree. I don't think Orton's a bad QB though. He can play. I really doubt he'll remain anywhere near the top of the league, but it's not like he's Moses Moreno. He's a tall QB with a decent arm who has shown the ability to limit his mistakes. It's a pretty good fit for the Broncs. Cutler's just a much more skilled player, IMO. But he's going to have to fight Turner's schemes, and what I consider to be some overall bad coaching on the offensive side of the ball, to succeed.
  24. It's just so fun to say. You DOUCHE!
  25. Smart move by Shanahan, I think.
