  1. They're going to double the point total I thought they'd get before halftime. This game's got me considering the other errands I could get done today instead of engaging in Bear-emotional-self-mutilation.
  2. Note how we couldn't dig out of the hole, and they flip field position back in their favor on just one drive. ....and they continue to drive. This ain't lookin' good gents. We've got no answers today.
  3. Today's he's been godawful bad.
  4. dude, what storm are you talking about? THEY'RE WINNING. Quit saying dumb ass stuff, jesus.
  5. They looked like a buttload of ass against the Rams, but we're just getting blown right off our game right now by these guys. Nothing surprises me in the NFL. I long ago gave up on the notion that anyone really knows what is going to happen week to week.
  6. It would be nice if we could wash them out and force a FG this time. But it's pretty hard for me to get all over the defense at the moment given the hand they've had to play with for most of the quarter.
  7. Seattle is doing on offense what we should be doing.
  8. For a team that is supposedly bad against the pass, I'm not seeing us take advantage at all. Where's the quick slant game? Where's the screen? You aren't going to run it very well.
  9. How do we break out of this FP cycle? I'm concerned about a turnover deep in our zone now.
  10. So far he's doing well.
  11. So they will take the lead soon just based on the field position disparity. Please just hold it to a field goal so we can get a proper kickoff and reset this thing.
  12.
  13. It was part of his contract that they lie to him about whether he'll play each week.
  14. Toe gettin' it done, thx.
  15. Can we get off the field this time, please?
  16. Are we planning on letting them get 10 yards per run today? I'd just like to know up front.
  17. Maybe someone told them it was a night game and they just rolled out of bed.
  18. They both looked like they looked back at the QB early, and then just stopped moving their feet. Yeah -- that's piss poor. Plus they've got 3 new starters on the OLine, and not an ounce of pressure on Hasselbeck. Hello, wake up there's a freaking football game that needs to be played!
  19. Not sure what the effing hell that was supposed to be, but it's not gonna cut it. Play some freaking defense you clowns.
  20. It was always pretty clear to me why she got on that show in the first place.
  21. oops, that kind of sucks.
  22. It does seem to add credence to the theory that Quade will be managing the team next season. All that's happened is that Larry picked up his option. The Cubs have not in any way stated that he'll be back, correct? He just simply hasn't been fired yet, I guess. They aren't that stupid to fire LR. Right? Doubtful. I don't think Sandberg or Girardi would discount the Cubs because LR's here, either (or any other managerial candidate, for that matter).
  23. Bears 23 Seahawks 10 I think the Bears can put it in the end zone a couple times against the Hawks, based on defense and special teams if not offense. I think the limiting factor for us will be our run game vs. the Hawks' run D. That will keep us in the low 20's. I can't see Seattle putting up points against the Bears' D on the road. If they do I'll be unpleasantly shocked, for sure. Barring some kind of turnover mess or S/T's breakdowns by the Bears, I think we take this one from the Hawks, but with all the same frustrations we've been seeing for most of the year with the OLine sucking and Jay ducking.
  24. It's hard to say he sucks at something he doesn't do. That's like saying I suck at ice skating. Well, I've never put any effort into trying to ice skate. Angelo hasn't put any effort into trying to solve the OL. Hehe, ok. He's not putting on his OLine study glasses any time soon; I think that's pretty clear. It is to me anyway.
  25. I'm not really talking about whether I agree with the assessment. If they feel they can only salvage his career by moving him to guard, then by all means do it. The point is that is disappointing regardless. Also, the story about not disrupting the line by moving him back to tackle does not hold up to any analysis. You would not be breaking up a steady line, you'd be moving a guy back to where he was supposed to play in the first place. And if there is any thought of moving him back to LT eventually then you are just pre-planning future "disruption". Yeah...if you believe Chris Williams is a better LT than Omiyale, I think you have to do it. Clearly, they don't believe that at this point. It's disappointing, but I'm not going to dwell on it. The line sucks anyway, it's all smoke & mirrors and I expected it to be that way since the Spring. I've accepted that they aren't solving the OLine until Angelo is gone. He'll never pull that area of the team together. He thoroughly sucks at it and he's not going to suddenly get better.
