  1. Pats had their turn as the latest "OMG THEY ARE THE BEST" media darlings. Now they're back to what they were before -- a team with holes, a bad defense, and no #1 receiving target. Just took a few games to figure out what they were doing. Pressure Brady up the gut, bump those receivers at the line because none of them are particularly strong -- or good. Too bad the Bears couldn't figure this out.
  2. This is how it works. Whenever you think you know something about the NFL, you will be shown to be dead wrong.
  3. They aren't amazing tonight Collinsworth, they blow!!
  4. Flynn is decent. This is horrifying. I'll bet this means Webb is a superstar too, just nobody knows.
  5. This game might be even more important if the Pats don't start playing like the Pats.
  6. By this time last week we were already buried. And it was at home. And our roster is healthy. *crawls down deep hole to hide from reality*
  7. Santa loves the Pack
  8. Pack giving up the long down & distance so far. And those runs are really working right now. But - Pack look game tonight.
  9. I think that's really up in the air. Mostly because the Packers' brass never expected to be in that position. All signs pointed to a better season. Also, there have been many injuries. How much does that soften the harsh judgement that would fall upon McCarthy? I think that's unknown - they're just praying to not need to go down that road. That's my take, for what it's worth. There's definitely restlessness up here, that's for sure.
  10. he makes sense. i am scared of something bad happening to one of our good players. I'm trying not to approach it with fear, but I'm finding it difficult not to. I'm wondering if it would have been better to play this at the Metrodome, with an injured less-effective Favre, than outdoors on a dangerous, slick surface against a running QB who the Bears can't have much if any tape to study.
  11. I could definitely live without the inevitable, ubiquitous docu-dramas about the Tebow story if he were to succeed. I was hoping we'd moved past all that crap, frankly. No. I'd like to see him disappear soon.
  12. I was just about to comment on how I like how McFadden looks, then he fumbles :)
  13. NY laid about the biggest turd I've ever seen, blew a 31-10 lead and then completely blew a punt/coverage and DeShaun Jackson took it back with no time left. Eagles win.
  14. both teams have a nearly identical point differential there's not much of a gap in terms of talent between the teams Still...Drew Stanton? I must say though. Almost beat Chicago. Beat GB. Beat Tampa. They've been a tough out. I don't think teams are ready for the fact that they're bringing it up front, especially on defense. That's what really hurt Chicago until they started short-passing their way through.
  15. Yeah, Coughlin should shut up and look at his coverage. That had the whole damn team in position to make the tackle.
  16. Oh God there is something so satisfying about seeing NY shocked and dismayed. WONDERFUL!!
  17. AHAHAHAHAAHHHhhhhh. LMAO that was the best ever!
  18. Giants seriously blew a 31-10 lead.
  19. Hahahahahhhhhh..... Gnats blow the big lead. Tie game in NY.
  20. Unbelievable. Eagles have a chance.
  21. Damn. The magic ran out on Rex. Not a bad game though. Lions win! Goodbye, Tampa.
  22. Go Lions :)
  23. It's just really hard for me to factor in the bye yet.
  24. I think I want the Giants to win, and eventually take the division -- just in case we were to lose tomorrow night and need that tiebreaker
  25. Thought so but they're the Wizards. Wade FT's for the lead.
