My head hurts. And my stomach. What happened to our defense, again? The only time we've stopped them is when they drop a ball. We look like dottering old men playing a seniors exhibition for a group of kids. This is pathetic. And our *offense* has needed to carry us! Bizarro world. I'll bet there are plenty who took the under today and felt pretty good about that a few hours ago...

6-10, something like that. I've never held any delusions that this Bear team magically became good. They remain the flawed team we watched in the offseason. They've done some good things, but are the beneficiary of other flawed teams around them, to a substantial degree. That's been true the whole time.

Decent article in today's Tribune about how the Bears ran stunts/loops on passing downs during the Vikings game. One way to counter situations when there are two blockers on Peppers. Hasn't been talked about all that much. I hope it doesn't start receiving focus -- especially from other teams' OLines. It's nice to be able to pull a stunt unexpectedly and blow up things like putting a TE on the end for extra blocking, or to take advantage of a weak OG.
