  1. DJ channels himself a little Tillman.
  2. I don't think Jay realized he took too much time on that delay penalty. Then they switched to a vanilla play call for the 3rd and 12, no shifts. I don't know, I'm just cringing waiting for the injury guys. I'd almost feel more comfortable if the packers would just score 2 quick TDs and get our starters out of there.
  3. Yes Packer fans, he dropped it. No, the earth didn't crack open and Satan didn't crawl out.
  4. Packer fans just know they're at Lambeau and it's the Bears and they had to booze up to deal with the cold.
  5. [expletive] quick slants.
  6. Alright here we go. I agree with Strahan. You'll know how this is going to go early.
  7. I just think it's interesting how well the Lions have played at the end. And also it's interesting that Philly just couldn't stop Webb, who then looked pretty pedestrian against the Lions. Webb isn't looking forward to vacation. Every game is a Super Bowl for the kid right now, you can trust in that.
  8. AFC West could be really stout next year with the Chargers, Chiefs and Raiders. True. I'll be watching whether they can pick up a QB.
  9. OH! Tampa, wow.
  10. Raiders: team to watch in 2011.
  11. How is Harden a head case? Guys that get hurt are [expletive] It has nothing to do with the injury thing. Ever met him? He's the kind of guy my grandmother would have called a space cadet. What in the blue [expletive] are you talking about Have no idea. I'm thinking AI should quit when he's only dug a relatively small hole for himself. Good for Harden. I hope he can regain some of his previous form. It wouldn't likely hurt the Cubs very much.
  12. NO should petition to move to the NFC West. Then move St. Louis to the NFC South.
  13. Because Pittsburgh has almost constantly been in the red zone this game? The need to stop being the "Red Zone" channel at a certain point, and focus on games that are actually games. They proceeded to show 2 highlights in games that were close. I think it safe to say people outside of Pittsburgh would rather have seen one of those two live.
  14. OK, I understand the Red Zone Channel just "went to Cleveland." What I don't understand is WHY the Red Zone Channel would go to Cleveland -- FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.
  15. It is impossible for the Bears to play the Packers in the second round. I know. Thats why I said some were just about impossible or in this case impossible. I just wanted to list all the playoff or potential playoff teams. What of the Giants? Hopefully we'll be experiencing about 9 months without having to hear from them or their fans, that's what.
  16. Vikings looked much better against the Eagles than the Lions. I find that to be interesting.
  17. Hope the Bears don't try (not that we couldn't win if they did.) The priority in Chicago will be staying healthy, which is what the priority was all season for Lovie. And that priority has served him well (arguably, it saved his career). He's not abandoning it now.
  18. No way Carolina gets to 21 points. That game is already over, even with Atlanta's scrubs in.
  19. Part of that Saints/Bucs game is that Tampa is a pretty decent team, and a tough out.
  20. I think if GB gets out of the first, they very well may beat the Falcons in Atlanta like they should have done a few weeks ago. I'd rather get GB in Chicago than go on the road to Atlanta. It would be a tough call for me. Ultimately we're going to have to play a good team if we get there. I'm trying not to be too obsessed with the matchup we get. The thing is, we're built well for the turf, and we also have a good road record. But a home game in the NFC Championship, regardless of the opponent, is also attractive.
  21. Man, that was some kind of throw/catch in the corner of the end zone by Tampa.
  22. Umm, no Siciliano. Saints cannot be the 2 seed. Bears have that locked up, but thanks.
  23. Carolina: stinky stinky stinky Atlanta: HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY
  24. Carolina is historically bad. The only reason they aren't heading for 0-16 is because of the grace and charity of the NFC West. I think the 0-16 Lions were as good as this team, maybe even a little better.
  25. I don't understand why people insist on tagging a guy as non-competitive based on his demeanor. Same thing happens with ARam sometimes. These guys hop around the country all year long, never see their families -- they work their butts off constantly, going in and out of slumps, putting in countless hours at the ballpark and training. If Derek Lee didn't have a priority on winning, he would have retired. It's silly to suggest he doesn't want to win. You can't coast through a 162-game schedule plus all the offseason training. All of these guys are driven to succeed. That's why they became MLB players in the first place. Come on, let's put this silly idea to bed for good.
