    It’s a knee jerk post. I can see the Bears being carved up weekly and it’s not a pleasant thought. I wouldn’t say I’ll be happy with a team that improves offensively but finishes with say 6 or 7 wins. But it would give me some hope to know the O is on the right track. An 8 win team is probably on the “in the hunt” list in December so at least we would be watching consequential games.

    With a subpar pass rush the DBs will get eaten alive. Unless there’s a surprise all the other North teams are better. I’m not seeing playoffs at all with that defense. Here’s hoping the offense shows the kind of improvement that will generate excitement in Chicago for the future. But they need both sides of the ball in this division.

    Was hoping to win 2 and we’ll win 3. Obviously it’s disappointing today but big picture - we did fine here against a playoff bound team.

    Priester didn’t make it out of camp this year. His performance has been shaky up until the Brewers snatched him out of the Red Sox minor leagues this spring. Now he’s great. So he’s another case where the Brewers apparently know more about players than the teams they play for. Getting sick of this crap from these guys.

    They should have sat him long ago regardless of injury. Dude needed a break, the whole world could see it. Suzuki too.

    It was wonderful while it lasted. But he is not a good hitter, and I’d be shocked if he’s a positive the rest of the year at the plate
